Well that's the problem with support. If the team gap is that massive you could literally play anything or do anything. He was facing a Leona mid with with predator and ghost with 30 cs at 11 min and that had first item mobos . Literally could've played any support champion for the first time and won.

8:28 I have competed in smash up to a point, but haven't since Brawl. I still play the series because it's fun. So even if you are good the odds of competing in a real way are next to nothing so it truly doesn't matter. Beyond that, a lot of games with TINY scenes do small tournaments with prizes at the end of seasons. A lot of fighting games were and are that way but if you only play MOBAs Bloodline Champions was a MOBA (no lanes, you just teamfight essentially, there was a shortlived sequel called Battlerite) that had them as well. I'm positive Smite has tournaments also.

There were things wrong with them but they wee=re so much fun. They are making a new game but there's not much info about what the PvP will be like.
