This is what's going on | Channel Update/Future?

As most of you know, I ended reactions on my channel in January and for the most part have been quiet due to a couple of reasons.
Then I posted a little poll on Monday and I felt I owed you, my subscribers, this explanation at the very least, of the decision I made in January and on why I posed the poll on Monday.
So this is just me being very boring, trying to give you the best explanation I can at this stage, on what's been happening and what's been going on in my thoughts.

Here is some free advice so take it for what you think it is worth. If you have a steady job then I would suggest keeping it. I would hate to see you give up steady income to work on a very risky YT venture. You said you enjoyed making content for this channel... so you may want to do as another YT reactor did. They choose to continue making content but only when they had time. The lady was going back to school to get her Masters Degree (so she could qualify for a promotion at her current job) and has posted several videos since then but nothing on a regular basis. She treats her YT channel as a hobby and her subscribers understand her time limitations. I wish you the very best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

I have to apologise, I actually know the movie, I only realised when I searched for it now that it is the English translated of PAD NA JOU HART, which I've watched before. I did not recognise the English name and did not even link it to the Afrikaans movie until I found it now 🙈 so sorry. I can say I've seen it and enjoyed it. I am not sure however how it is in English, are the voices translated to English, or did you read the subtitles with the original Afrikaans audio?

You asked me before how you can pay the 1 dollar (which is around R17 give or take depending on the exchange rate at the time off course 😁), I have a PayPal account which I think is the best option for me for now, but I'll give more details once I've made a more final decision and once I get to the point that I can implement it. @@colinforsyth7828 hehehe thank you Colin, I must admit I am also quite basic as well, with all the scams and fraudulent things happening these days you have to be so careful and it becomes overwhelming to say the least. I also agree with others. Keep the main job, steady and reliable income. Many who find success with YT are those who have no other options and go all in and risk it all, but many of those fail and only a few succeed. Others who are successful have a spouse providing the necessary income to sustain their living costs while the other builds up their YT support. YT is not a guarantee . YT also doesn't cover for insurance or retirement like a full time job should, not to mention provide holiday paid time off. When the income is so small, it's hard to figure those costs out of pocket and keep set aside when bills are due. The great thing about subscribers, we'll be here when you can post content whether its full time, once a month, or several months. Good luck in your choices.

Good morning Lezy,, wait for the YT varification code so that you could get an income from the channel first,, try to contact the company with any means,, then, you can think of quetting you job

Thank you Waleed, I have tried all of this, they eventually closed my Adsense Account because I could not enter the verification code, but your advice on only doing a video when I can, for now seems to be the better solution, it is much appreciated! It seems that the advice from most is the same as yours and that most will understand and accept that I only do maybe one video per month or so, so it is giving me something to think over and ease my mind into.

Something to consider, once a reaction channel starts to grow and reaches a certain size or popularity, youtube increases the difficulty of keeping your videos from being blocked. Much more work in editing and a lot of will be required of you then :/ It would be ill-advised to quit a job that gives you a reliable paycheck. In no way am I suggesting you give up, and hopefully you will be able to get the money from subscribers to at least get the streaming services paid for so you can continue to try to grow your channel and create content when you have the time/energy to do so. How?? I don't want to pay KZbin. Do you have a legitimate easy way to send without you losing 30% of the money to fees, etc.? Yeah, monetizing is like making videos every hour forever.

I have PayPal, so that is the one way and then if I were to continue with Patreon, that would be another way but, but the expectations to deliver more content when using Patreon is too much at this point, so for me, with the circumstances I have, PayPal is the platform that does not make me feel like I need to do more in order to earn little or reasonable amounts

@@unwindreactions6223 Have you heard of Thundafund? Is it a scam? PayPal would identify me. Anonymous or under my KZbin name is the only way I can do it.

@@putinscat1208 I have never heard if it. My approach to things like that where there is some uncertainty is usually not to buy into it. Unless you can see that websites accept that method for payments, but I've never seen it or heard of it, so if it is new, I would not yet take a chance with it, as we do not have any options in South Africa at least, that links it to banks or websites for payments or transfers.

@@putinscat1208 I'm so sorry there isn't any other way I can think of now, the problem with the other methods, is that we cannot pay streaming services in SA with anything other than either our Bank Card or PayFast that link to our Bank Card or PayPal (there are a few other methods such as EasyPay, but those are about the ones we have) and the same for anything that I want to purchase say if I need to upgrade my computer or camera etc. The fact that you are willing to pay me, even if you cannot, is much more than I need ❤️

It seems Thundafund is legit, it is like GoFundMe but for Africa it seems. I had a quick glance over and it requires a lot of documentation and paperwork for me to open one, so I'll have to investigate a bit more on this type of funding and the particular requirements if I were to open a thundafund account.
