And my wife wife, who I met in college, is from Tuskegee and grew up with Lionel Richie and Ronald LaPread, the bass player. The Commodores were the house band at the Elks club and Lionel wasn't singing then. We lived in Tuskegee after college and it was great to see them achieve the success they had. Absolutely love their music. Looking forward to more reactions to The Commodores! Best wishes guys!

Young girl of 16 and heavily pregnant, and the father denying it! Then in my seventh month we, (myself& family) hear a soft knock at our door. I go to the door and there stands my young 16 yr old baby's daddy 😳. He says quietly can you come out and talk for a little bit? I grab my parents car keys, ( not to drive) but to listen to the radio. We sit in the car and I turn on the radio and what song is playing, of course Sweet Love!! Let me explain just one thing, I was in love with this older man, that didn't love me, but I was to young to know what love really was, I cried many of times over this older man, little did I know that he had a girlfriend in another town and had two babies with him! So I drank way to much one night and here comes the babies daddy, we only went to school together, I didn't think much of him if at all lol!! But after drinking and dancing I seen that he was actually really handsome, a one night stand! Once and only once 5 months later I knew something was change with my body. Still I had no earthly clue about pregnancy. I actually thought I couldn't have kids, I thought I had the dreaded bladder infection! I told my mom I need to go to the doctor because I think I have a bladder infection. I was at my best friends house and her mom overheard me on the phone. She said, Rhonda come here. I went to where she was sitting, and she looked me over and said why is your pants unbuttoned, I said, I have a bladder infection and the strange thing is, all of my clothes are super tight, even my tops. I laughed and said jokingly, hey I think I'm finally getting breasts, no more eye yolks and laughed so hard, but she wasn't laughing and I wondered why? She said, come stand right in front of me, and I did, she said, is the bottom of your belly round and hard, I said yep, because that happens every time I get this infection. She reached to me, pulled my blouse up, I was thinking ok, whatever, her eyes were huge, I said WHAT? she was feeling my belly, she leaned back and smiled, what? She said Rhonda your pregnant, I took a few steps back shaking my head big-time denial, no, I just have a bladder infection. She said, not only are you pregnant but I believe your at least 5-6 months. I left immediately, I walked in my mom's room she was ironing her church clothes, I said mom, can you believe that Kayes mom thinks I'm pregnant, she stopped ironing turned around told me to stand up, looked at my belly, turned around shaking her head. I said, I told her that I wasn't pregnant but wouldn't believe me. My mom stopped again, didn't turn around, and said, because she's right Rhonda you are pregnant..I started crying, she said who's the father? I said a one night stand! I said, how am I going to tell him, she said tell him, don't worry about what he says, you got all us behind you!! So there it is folks, I lived, I thrived, and my son will be 46 this year. Sorry for the long story, but I thought I'd mix it up a little tonight lol .. thank you Shawn and Mel, love all your reactions!! 🎶🎶🎶🥰🥰🥰
