I grew up with them, God we had the best of everything, Everybody loved the love songs, and it made no difference if they were black of white, we partied together, loved my life, I was colored blind, still am, 70 year old white boy from the south. I loved the Commodores when Lionel Richie was with them before he went solo in the eighties. He had a huge solo career but the Commodores were one of the best R&B groups ever. This is one of my favorite songs from this group...also check out their hits, Zoom, Still, Three Times a Lady, Brick House (Walter Orange lead sings), etc. The members of the Commodores were (and are) Lionel Richie, Walter Orange, William King, Skyler Jet, Milan Williams, Ronald LaPread, Thomas McClary, Sheldon Reynold, and James Dean Nicholas.
