I wonder if my love for travel is normal ☺️, I'm glad I can travel as often as I want, but I wonder how most people cover the expenses for their wanderlust, I know a couple of people are just gonna bottle up their desire for travel adventure because they can't afford to, that's so horrible.
@angelahiggins89453 жыл бұрын
Sadly that's true but not for me though, I always have my travel expenses covered and travel as much as I like to. 13 countries and counting
@frankben53403 жыл бұрын
@Camellia Walter she's right, you should look into investing your money if you're interested in travelling more often than you want to, you can try real estate or crypto currency and stocks, either way you'll be better off than just saving your money
@frankben53403 жыл бұрын
@Camellia Walter if you're the type that prefers short term investment plans over long term plans then you should definitely invest in crypto currency

I drove a Cortina from Darwin to Melbourne in 1980 via Mt Isa and down through Dijarra (not sure if that is how it's spelt), Boulia and through Winton. I remember running low on petrol and pulled into a place I think was called Hamilton. If my memory serves me correctly it was a Pub and a fuel depot. I remember writing my name on the wall in the pub before leaving and continuing on my journey. Did you by chance visit Hamilton?

Some maybe useless information for you but if you want to give Elsie’s engine bay a birthday i have found Inox very effectively dissolves the white powdery alloy corrosion, puts a shine back on it and protects it. I have sprayed it over a number of Toyota engines. If it’s parked up for a while I just spray it over the engine and leave it, next lot you can spray and rub it with a rag to clean it up to a to a low sheen.
@OverlandTravellers3 жыл бұрын
Not useless at all I really should out some effort into giving the engine bay a clean! cheers mate :)

I just did this with our new troopy, loosens up the surface rust especially inside any pivot points and cleans up the plastic

@@andrewb5887 yes it’s great on heaps of things, door hinges, catches and anything seized especially if you can afford the time to let it pre soak and penetrate.

Great content... consider filming in a higher frame rate like 60fp. That will help if your moving the camera around alot.

We shoot 120 sometimes but I feel slow motion is a bit overused. It’s nice for b-roll…. But usually we shoot 4K 24 so we can crop in or scale down so we get a better image, but also sometimes I don’t mind the hand held shake like the driving shots. Would love a camera that can do 4K 60 though, maybe a A74 when it’s out or A7Siii

Yeah a bit of a nothing ep but as you guys would know a lot of the time on the road is filled with pretty mundane things :) yep absolutely the Stephen Fry he’s one of the best narrators we be heard for any book. We have finished them now so we need another book, any suggestions? Also are you guys going to either Adelaide or Perth 4WD shows? It would be awesome to catch up.

@@OverlandTravellers Know it all too well! You guys do such a good job making it entertaining though. Can’t think of any series as good as HP, I think when we finally finish it we’ll probably just start it from the beginning again 😂 We’ve never actually been to a 4wd show before so will probably end up visiting the Perth one!
