Just found your channel. My uncle drove trucks for nearly 30 years between army service and civilian jobs. Has a million stories of everything from lot lizards and thieves trying to steal his stuff, to narrow misses of tornados, and driving through lovely Michigan blizzards. I love this kind of content: taking us on your journey with you. Stay safe out there brother! Greetings from Michigan!

Thought I was the only one that used to be skeptical taking these roads at night

The roads in Michigan suck though. Worst roads I’ve ever been on in the Midwest

Hey what do u think about flat bed trucking vs dry van? Is it more dangerous ? Also any thought on hot shot trucking ?
@guyinatruck Жыл бұрын
I think flatbed or step deck is better than dry Van. Anything specialized is better because less people are doing it so pay is better. Hot shotting is unique and specialized too so yes those are good avenues to go down

I’m working on getting my cdl and hope to get my own truck. Do you have any advice on financing to buy a truck. I know keeping the overhead cost low is important
