Good question. I have been looking at this one when you made that guide on wavereport. It looks really nice. I am leaning in between this one and a Zuca one. I think I'll build one around a zuca allterrain in the end since I usually go by train, so the big wheels will help with transportation.

Curtis Judd I have a super useful tip, when you use a Zoom F8 and don’t want to buy expensive powering devices: Use a Powerbank (10000-30000mAh) and buy this cable: www.amazon.de/dp/B075DDRF5W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GigCDbHPE7V3B Its a lot cheaper than all the other devices I’ve seen yet. I you this for a year right now and it never failed. Shouldn’t be an adv. just noticed that I’ve always seen the same Batteries, and wanted to share this.

Been in this business for over 30 years and I am still learning. Loved your suggestion for the cart as I am making one for my 13 year old. Just got it in and he LOVES it. Perfect height as well. I know he's young, but a cart gives him a sense of ownership (And he's got my old Cantar X2 so he BETTER have something to put it on). When he gets older and starts run and gun, odds are I'll get him whatever version of Xoom is out at the time. Thanks again

Hi sir, Totally agreed! In my older days ('80s) when only Senn416, AKG, AudioTechnica built Ikegami as well as Nakamichi microphones were available, these shot gun mics helped me saved a lot of production costs in TV/Theater commercials by doing all the VOs on spot of the location shoots before the talents are going home. With a shot shotgun mic with good sensitivity, I didn't need any sound booth at all, a shot shotgun can easily convert any set to a temporary sound booth. My limited experience also tell me that a shotgun mic actually do not has any phase issue in a sound booth and well acoustic control room too!

Thanks, that was a brilliant video. Very insightful. I'd like to know more about the timecode bag. Im setting up a small podcast studio at home and I'm torn between using stationary mirrorless camera like the A7Siii or using a network camera that automatically tracks and follows my movement. If I get up to teach something on a whiteboard for example. It would be good to know how to sync a multi camera setup. Also, I trained in sound engineering and so post processing of sound was always important, but it seems many KZbinrs dont pay much attention to this eg noise removal, compresssion/de-essing/excitation etc. I'd like to know your KZbin sound process from recording levels, to post, feedback elimination, mastering and final output levels compression. Thanks in advance. Great channel! 👍

@DeityMicrophones
@DeityMicrophones 3 жыл бұрын
I designed it in Sketchup and 3D printed it. But you can do the same thing by drilling a hold into a 2" black PVC cap and use a bolt to attach it to bottom shelf. add 2x rubber gaskets between the PVC cap and the shelf to add friction so the cup doesn't spin freely.
