Hello, yes you can get s Schengen Visa, show your South African permit as well as your passport and all the other supporting documents. It shouldn't be a problem

Yes you still need to present your bank statement or you can present your payslip. When travelling for work it’s better to present your payslip. You will also need an invitation letter for the conference from your company

Yes they are legit. Not sure if they are quick to be honest, I paid for the express service when i applied so that helped. But i think the normal service takes 5-10 days.
