Hello! The general guideline is that you need at least DKK 500 (around €67) per day of stay if you are staying in a hotel. If staying with a host (friends/family): You may need less, but you still need to show that you have sufficient funds, typically around DKK 350 (€47) per day. To proof your solvency, bring a copy of bank statements for the past three months, and/or copy of credit card with credit card statements, and/or copy of salary slips of the last three months.

Hi , Not sure if you guys still respond to these but i came accross this very helpful video. However i have a couple of questions. 1. I( Sri Lankan Citizen Living in Canada) Plan to travel to Romania With my Girlfriend (Romanian Citizen living in UK) to visit her grandmother and we will be staying at her Grandmother's house. In such cases do we have to write a letter as if she is inviting us? or do we just mention in the letter of explanation that we are going to stay there. It makes it sound like a marriage certificate is irrelevant. And yet my wife got forced in early 2024 to get a QR upgrade to our marriage certificate before she was permitted to finish her visa application. Also the "incentive" part at the end is strange, since it makes it seem like it must be more difficult than otherwise for an applicant to visit their own spouse, as it gives them less incentive to return to their country of birth.
