I 100% agree with what Mufti Menk says but what if the thing you want actually would help not only you but your family and friends out of a terrible situation and you have to see how they suffer and you don't see another way of helping them and still you don't get it? And the situation stays the same.

that can be for many reasons / for instance maybe you did a sin in your life and Allah is going to test with patience, maybe Allah reserved it to you in the afterlife or maybe Allah wants to show you the suffering of your family to make you understand something really important that can benefit you in the future. it is so complex that we humans are not designed to understand all of it but Allah still gives us hints an sometimes you remember a situation in the past and you understand why Allah made this situation or the other one like that. But what is the most important thing to remember are two things in my opinion : Allah doesn't enjoy the suffering of a person and when you ask him something be sure Allah will granted to you now or after some time or after your death. the prophet muhammad peace be upon him said that when we will be retribued at the day of judgement we would have liked that he did not spare us even for a second during our life so what he will give us as a reward will be enormous. we really need to think about it

I have a sincere question can someone please help me out ; I just started my prayers and want to continue my prayers , 1. Is it acceptable to do your prayers after work cause of work and the unbelievers at work . 2. Is it acceptable to do wudu with make up on. 3 . Is it acceptable to do your prayers with make up on . I think there's nothing wrong in praying with makeup. As long as the water reaches to every corner of your face and your face gets wet completely. Then this Wudu would be acceptable.. (Correct me if I'm wrong) JazakAllah.

I understand this is not the proper platform to ask such question but I am going thru a rough patch in my life and I really need help to understand something. I am asking Allah for something in particular for more than a year and I tell myself frequently that Allah Pak is not giving me that thing bcz He knows best and may be what I am asking for is not good for me... But here is a question that comes into my mind if everything is under Allah Pak command & power then why does He not change the bad into good? For eg. As a parent I would never give knife to my child bcz it is bad for him and not in my power to make it good but if I can I definitely will & then give it to my kid... Then why doesn't Allah Pak do the same??

Allah will give you, it could be that of what you ask or something better for you. It doesn’t have to be exactly what you asked but it will be better. Also have more sabr. It can take 1 year 2,3 just be patient. Inshallah may Allah bless you and answer your dua. Aamiin.
