I have a factory for the coconut oil but since the price of the coconut is high i now export organic coconut to Nigeria, Canada, USA, Asia and Europe. Even that kraaaa we get a lot of unused coconut so i am thinking of reviving my factory now since i get in excess. I now export more than 1 million nuts every week and just calculate the amount of dollars i bring to this country every month. All is subject to change so let's embrace change. At present no one will cut down his coconut for rubber because the value of coconut have raised since 2017. The most annoying part of coconut oil is if you don't have market outside Ghana you are doomed. Go to kasoa ofaakor we have the biggest coconut factory in Ghana but when we produce the oil the buyers will be dictating to you about the price since they were getting the palm kernel oil cheaper so they dictate to you anyhow now that they are in need of the oil they are complaining. If we're going to start the factory we will target only foreign buyers.

The French people and the Western countries started in Ivory Coast, but their government did not allow them. So they are moving to Ghana, Liberia and Serra Leon.

BRO well done for doing this video. the elders are ignorant as to how nutricious and important coconut oil is. I live in West and coconut oil is so expensive to buy. I don't know why there are doing this to these lovely hardworking women. The government should look into it.

This is sad. It is the French and some Western countries that are causing all these. I watched a documentary on that.

Everything boils down to gas prices; if the dollar is high and the government went to IMF to borrow money to buy more Cedis to increase it's value to bring down the dollar, it doesn't do anything to help bring down gas prices but just increase the coffers of the government. Now, the government will buy gas cheaper because of the value of the Cedis but sell gas at same or higher prices to pay for the borrowed money. This is just economics which most Ghanaians don't understand, all most will say, the dollar is down but compare to what? Ghana has lots of natural resources, what percentage of royalties does the country get from the natural resources? Are they selling their natural resources in the stock market and pay the foreign companies or the companies mine, sell and give the country nothing? The governments does budget for the country and go around begging for loan or aids to pay for the budget....very funny in how a country is run eh? Education has crippled 90% of African population so they don't understand how the countries are being run and how they are being taken advantage of; they've left the continent to be run by the greedy 10% who are taking advantage of the vulnerable 90%. They still vote for the same political parties imposed on them by their colonial masters. Why's Africa still exporting their raw materials and importing finished products, creating jobs in other countries? Oh Africa!
