It's just simply, 5* awaken your C grade gears on all of your right side (atk main = atk % subs, def main = def % subs, hp main = hp % subs). You do C grade coz it costs low gold to reroll for the subs, not anvil. C gears can be brought from the equipment shop. For reference, that 5* C gear on the right is about as strong, or stronger, as a 5* SSR gear piece, not adding in the % subs. That's the power of 15% subs from a low grade gear on the right side. On your left side, always get all the SSR first and fully awaken them before doing the same for your right. You do that coz the flat stats on your left side beats C grade with 15% subs with SSR, so it's always better. When you bench (dont get rid of it) your C gears, put it on other units until you have a good SSR gears for them.

All you need to know is that you should save for BLUE Demon meli because RED Demon meli is a coin shop unit. Basically, you will be able to obtain both if you summon for blue demon meli and then use the coins on red demon meli. I hope that helps :) Btw, I've been a JP player for about 6 months so I know this from experience.
