Hua never identifies the mother in this conversation. Later, at the end of the Aces vs Aces program, he recounted it as the event that marked him the most. He got emotional and we just wanted to hug him at that moment. I'm sorry I can't put the link here because I'm sure it will be blocked. Broken the chain, I hope that Hua can see the beauty of the world, even with all the serious problems we see every day. Be happy Bǎobèi 🌸🌸

It hurts to know that at one point of time, he was suffering from depression and was crying everyday, his mom was still by his side, trying to console him, support him and tearing alongside. His mum has taught him well and must be very proud of his boy. We love him😢

During the concert, Hua Hua also said that Fans are flowers in the small town in that occasion. I think he took the flower as a symbol for all the precious people in his life including his mom and fans.

Hua Chenyu experienced an incredible amount of pain, neglect, loneliness and abuse as a child. Music literally saved his life as it gave him an outlet for his emotions and also gave him an opportunity to be seen and to learn how to connect with people. His song "Dad, I am Home" is heartbreaking and pure, raw emotions from the depths of his soul. I hope you react to it. I think a lot of people unfortunately can relate to it. I am so glad that Hua Chenyu is in a good place now and has overcome the mountain of obstacles to become a beautiful flower.

I really like Hua Chenyu as a performer. Not so much his voice (of course he did) but as a performer." He's so suggestive, he can captivate me so much, he can convey his feelings and thoughts so vividly yet artistically." The world of sound is very special, yet it is very alive. This song is very personal,maybe that's why it's even more emotional than average. Big thanks for the reaction

Awesome reaction, and I really appreciate your understanding of Buddhist influences in Hua's performances. This song starts with a description of the actual funeral procession. Many people from central China, where Hua's hometown is, can immediately recognize this. The son carries the nameplate, or the ash of the loved one passed and lead the spirit to the final resting place in the mountains. So, he mechanically follows the group, and wishes the mountains don't get close so soon. His face is covered in tears as if wind has blown dust in his direction. The heavy single beats of the drum are his own footsteps. After the loved one is laid to rest, offerings are burned. There we have the first reference of a real fire, and then the concept of fire is extended to more philosophical meanings as you explained. There are different ways to interpret the poetic lyrics, and I would like to offer mine here since this is a very important song as you explained. Thanks.

You have a beautiful way of explaining metaphors in laymen terms that I can not clearly understand. I love the melody and the instruments of this beautiful song too. Hua has few more new great songs that are more light hearted that he introduced at his concert last concert. Hope you get to react to them also.

Fil, you bring out things that I would not have thought about and gives us another way of looking at this song. Yes, he is really feeling the emotions…he touches my heart every time. When I first heard this song (both the incredible music and lyrics), I was in tears. Just before his mom passed, Hua Hua promised her that he would love life and would take care of himself...be well, be happy Hua Hua. Thank you Rosa for requesting this beautiful, emotional song. 💞💞

Thank you for reacting to this song. This is one of songs from Hua Chenyu I like most. Like you said, this is a sad song, but Hua made the melody going up lifting. It makes the love and memory even more powerful and profound. When I first time listened to this song, it made me cry and at the same time I felt there is internal strengthness growing inside of me built up by the music. I think what Hua wants to convey through this song is even if she is away forever, but the love and memory never vanish and will stay live and strong for ever in his heart. Such a beautiful song. 💕💕🌹🌹

never thought a foreigner can understand the feelings of the Chinese so deeply! I guess Hua Hua's chorus Ai Ya Ai Ya should be his love yelling for his mother ... because Chinese Ai is 愛 means Love in Mandarin ... so he is singing loudly about his profound love for his mother who passed away. Love ya... Love ya... Not sure if my feeling is accurate.
@DahliaKuo2 жыл бұрын

Fil, Hua reaches out spiritually through his words, past the mundane, past the ignorance, past the complain, past the difference, the Mandela made, the Mandala now waste, there is no haste in the mantra, the taste and sight of the Yantra, the coloured sand, the slow flow, the know, the sands of time of a mother's face, the deep knowledge with the lines, my lines can compete with a son's last words of a breath that is spent, to a time when not a time now, how to move forward? Let your steps be slow, let your heart grow,, allow the new to sow, go forward earth's son go forward. #QcumberSquad #HuaChenyu #MamaChenyu #RosaSaReis - Fil, I'm off back to the study.

His name "Hua" means "Flower"... So his mum actually created a Flower. He doesn't write his lyrics, but he is pernickety about the words, explaining what he wants to say, and having lyrics rewritten until they say exactly what he wants. We should give more kudos to the poetic words of his lyricists. He bowed to his mum during this performance. Your butterfly analogy was beautiful. All the more, so, as although I am not frightened of wasps (which I'm allergic to, and, which could kill me), I am actually "frightened" of butterflies. 🤔 Maybe subconsciously I am frightened of harming it, not actually frightened of.. THEM.

His entire new album "Hope forget Hope", which this is from, would be very worthy of an entire review. It's some of the most remarkable work I've ever heard and I believe it's his best. The last song, which was just released a few days ago, is called "Illusion and Reality", and is being compared to the likes of Muse and Queen (reminiscent of Bohemian Rhapsody), and is nothing less than stunning in it's genius. He recorded over 100 harmony tracks for it, and every voice you hear in the song is his. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqKUiGOEe8R6otk

Wow, I do love the way you break it down FIL, thank you so much. This song tears my heart open every time I hear it it's so beautiful. Not long ago on a show Hua Hua was judging and mentoring (Flowers Bloom In Spring) he performed this song with traditional instruments accompaniment which was absolutely stunning. Watching Hua Hua over this past 12 months he certainly seems to have stayed true to his word and looks to have a self confidence, happiness and ease I've not seen in him in a while, despite everything he's had to deal with. He certainly is his Mum's legacy.
