One of my most favorites parts about creating The Confident Solo Female Backpacker System is getting to see firsthand the incredible transformations my students make when they do the work inside the program and then join me out on trail for our group trips. So much humor in this one! I love a montage, Ang’s random outbursts and the mud music!!!😂 And the little Bison Arrows - love!

I mean, it kind of sums up our whole trip. We had so many laughs while we were out there and created so many incredible memories with each other. It was a lot of fun editing this video together. Watching this video makes me want to go back and do this trip all over again.

I wish my wife could join you guys all the way from Scotland and to learn hiking. She really need to relax from working, studying, being a busy mum and breaking her sore back...she could also use a better lighter backpack instead of her 2kg Gregory one lol...anyway good stuff, ur a good woman!

What an incredible trip! It looks like you all had the best time, even with the blazing heat and the rain and mud (holy cow that mud 😮!) I love that you showed us your solo trip on the TCT, so we can see the differences between that and the group trip. And I love that Gossamer Gear sponsored this trip with packs for all of the ladies! I think it’s super helpful for those of us looking to buy a pack, to be able to see that it fits different shapes and sizes.

Mother Nature really gave us a taste of everything while we were out there on Catalina Island. Really put all of our backpacking gear to the test! Everyone seemed to really love their Mariposa 60 and this was such a perfect trip to break in all of our packs. :)

I’m a proud lady solo hiker for the TransCatalina Trail. I’m sorry that you skipped sleeping at Parsons Landing. At night…it’s one of my favorite places on the island.
@TheHungryHiker8 ай бұрын
I'm happy I finally got to see Parsons Landing on this trip, even if it was only to have lunch here in the rain. When I originally booked our sites for this trip, all of the sites at Parsons Landing were already booked, which is why we stayed at Two Harbors for two nights.

I would love to hike this island. Thanks for posting another video about it! I noticed that you have the Gossamer Gear The One. How do you like that tent? Thank you! ~ Bev

I've been loving the Gossamer Gear The One tent! I brought it with me on my trip to the Superstition Mountains in Arizona back in February and did a review of the tent in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaKyqZyqartnq8U

Bravo! I love what you're doing for women. This hike is on my list. I had it all planned for 2020 and well, we all know what happened that year. Do you still have to book all the campsites individually? This hike takes a bit of logistical planning. What was the decision process for not staying at Parsons the last night? Was it the timing of the ferry ride back?
@TheHungryHiker8 ай бұрын
Yes, each campsite still has to be booked individually. Definitely requires a lot of trip planning logistics for this trip. I put together a trip planning guide for the TCT in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJendYGIpL2Nha8 As for not staying at Parsons Landing, when I went to book our campsites, all of the sites at Parsons Landing were already full, which is why we spent two nights at Two Harbors.
