So, I haven't cubed in maybe a year or two - or three... My current best 3x3 is a fangshi shuangren - what's a quick and dirty cube to jump to that's "modern" from that? Thanks! Appreciate your honesty and openness coming into the new year. It's weird - but as much as COVID has hurt a lot of people, I think for many it opened a lot of opportunities - sometimes by force - that might help them for the better! I consider myself one of those people - it was stressful, but one of the better years I've had.

I really liked how you were talking about cubing hardware improvements. Like, what if we have been thinking about everything completely wrong and have been improving the wrong parts of a cube? What if in the future we learn to go about it all differently and change a whole bunch of different aspects of the cube and not just the small parts weve just been improving on over the years? Thats why i think cubing hardware can still change so much more over the years to come, becase we havent discovered eveeything about the cube yet, and what if theres a completely different technology out there that can be used to majorly change how weve been thinking about the cube and will make the solving experience a ton better? For example, piece grip, cube size, piece durability and hollowness, piece tracks, and other stuff that no ones thought of improving on

I notice more now in 2020 really how all reviews from other KZbinrs, that have come out for the last few years the audio could just be pasted over any of the cube review videos and it would say the same thing fir every cube. What do you think about the valk 3 (not the version with magnets) because I have one that I magnetized my self then I removed the magnets from the edges because I didn’t used sinse the summer of 2020 and I neded the magnets for something else and now I have a valk 3 whit magnets in the corners and no lube. I wanna ask just one thing.. as I am a cuber who depends upon the budget to buy the cubes, and obviously the cube should be good enough.. I wanted to ask that what problems does Meilong 3M has, as I wanna buy it as my first magnetic cube. I am now using the Meilong 3C which is lubricated with weight 3 and it works well for me as I average sub-13 or so.. but I wanna improve this year, so wanted a magnetic cube... Q: (preface) When people are deeply invested in any hobby, they naturally form a community with people who share the same hobby (eg: a badminton community, DOTA community or cubing community). Many times, we feel connected in the community and easily form friends when we are active in the hobby, but those friendships and sense of belonging can be threatened when we leave or take a break from the hobby.
