I do the same thing. I bought the sled to be able to fish and search out bigger lakes and give people rides whenever I can. Yes, new sleds are crazy expensive and hard to justify.......I'm 61 years old and this will easily outlive me. Even a few inches of snow will wipeout even a younger angler after a half mile or so. With all my gear, probably even sooner. It's nice having it, and comes in real handy when friends come to visit and I'm fishing a mile out or more! Nice.....thanks for helping all those brave souls who are willing to walk for a few slabs.

Hope this isn't a dumb question I just wondering what you're running for an ice auger I'm looking at the StrikeMaster 24-volt as I don't drill a ton of holes and looking for lightweight from my ion that I run right now

No dumb questions! If you don't ever drill a ton of holes then the 24v Lite-Flite 8in is good enough for up to like 12in of ice otherwise I would just get the 40v lite-flite! I run both just depending on if I am walking on early ice or not?

I got the snowmobile for days there is good snow to run it on and I have a 3 wheeler for no snow or very low snow but the Scratchers and the Studded track seem to keep it pretty cool even if only running it on low snow! I won't ever run it on no snow if I can help it!
