Yeah, cause in high elo most of the time you get punished if you are in the wrong position. The nasus diving zwag is a good example of a player that knows his champion limits and is ready to punish, after that zwag took notice of his mistake and started clearing the wave and getting the fucking out of there xD.

Miss the good old days when there weren't 10 other champions with comparable range and better kits. Xerath is the champ that made me actually start playing the game consistently, sad to see the state he's in. And not just Xerath, a lot of mages just feel bad to play these days unless you get put in a specific set of circumstances. Need less Rock, Paper Scissor matchups.

@RECONSIX20 it's like a rock paper scissors, but no balanced enough. Mage beats adc, tank beats mage, assassin beats mage, adc beats tanks if he has peel, assassin beats adc, bruiser beats everyone?. I don't even know what master yi and yone are, skirmishers? Seems like some roles only shine through team play and can't really hold their own, which is their intended design. Idk, I may be very wrong in my perception of these things

Xerath is a very good example of old champion design vs new champion design in my opinion Xerath has decent damage but he has 0 survivability, 0 movement, 0 good peel against anyone with a dash or just a tank that waddles towards you and proc heartsteel+titanic proceeding to oneshot you While everyone thats releasing in the modern days, has some sort of point&click or infinite dashes/mobility

Yep. Man k'sante is a strange thing to have in the game these days. I like playing xerath because in my opinion is a high risk / high reward champion. If you know how to position and hit your skill shots he has more damage than most champions with a disgusting range, like look at that lucian late game, unplayable, adc with low mobility it is even worst. The only thing I don't understand is why the fuck xerath do like 10 damage in tanks, if the only thing the camp has is damage, make him scale better against tanks as well.

But thats all he has, nothing but pure damage scaling from ap, which wont help against tanks, while most champions released later have some % hp damage/truedamage etc. And it limits his build path a lot because if you don't get lots of ap, ya wont kill squishies either.

Your Q needs a huge buff, it needs to be much more dangerous when its fully charged. Maybe add on max health damage at full charge and a crit if they are at 20%

Build in spell crit is kinda overabundance because shadowflame is a lot of time a key item. Just damage base on charge could be a good flair, but that could get aid pretty quick- im thinking of ramping MR shred on charge, could solve some prob for xerath

You must be kidding, the champ is overpowered If you compare it to Syndra's kit, you would notice he needs anything but a buff Xerath's Q has better range than Syndra's for equal damage Xerath's W has better range than Syndra's for better damage and better slow Xerath's E does not deal greater damage than Syndra's but stuns longer and his cd is 3 times lower than hers One hit of Xerath's R equals to Syndra's three-balled R Hope you mull it over, because you are not being objective

Is Liandry's not a thing for Xerath? You're using what I think is a burst mage against a tank/sustain (Nasus) and didn't have morello's or a liandry's which would fulfill both of those roles AND also hurt the other champs a lot too (thinking Nunu)

Liandry's poop on xer and they still have mr, proc isn't enough he just wouldn't hurt squishies, he built shadowflame (true damage execute) and magic pen to still hurt tanks but as you can see he doesn't

Phase Rush. It's about the only thing you can get that saves you from Nasus assuming you can hit with 2 spells and an auto, or all 3 spells. Otherwise there's not much to be done. Banshee's is also decent since he 100% relies on wither, but of course that has the downside of delaying the items you actually need to carry the game. Also, phase rush is only good in lane as Xerath since moving fast isn't usually within your purview. It's a dead rune outside that context in 95% of cases.
