I know how difficult it can be to leave a job that you really liked but you clearly made the right decision and you shouldn’t be feeling guilty that you let anyone down. Take time to live and have some proper rest, it's the end of an era but it's also a new day to try new things and enjoy life differently. From a burnouted man quitting his job in a few weeks (for different reasons), enjoy some time off during the holidays with your family and babies and rest. Cheers man, I know it was a very hard choice to make, but I'm sure it's for the better. 🦾

I love how there was no animosity but just the truth that it was time to move on, and focus on new adventures and projects of interest to you. Leaving a job that's... Been part of your life for so long along with the knowledge that the memories etc. It's tough. Fr 40 employees from a side hustle hobby. Engineers doing engineering and not having to play politics and deal with tons of needless red tape. ( regulations are needed, and mostly great, I mean internal company bureaucracy BS that slows everything down)

There are only so many hours in a day. This was the right call for you. I've been there too trying to do everything but you always eventually have to give something up or it will literally kill you. This doesn't prevent you from working with CaseKing either. If anything, it makes it so everything you do with them can be even better because you can be much more selective and intentional on projects you might take on. Also, I'd love to see your take on a non-direct die cpu block since direct die is not something my customers have ever asked for. The mycro direct die performs very well and looks very nice.

I am very happy for you, Roman. Can't say that I've ever been a customer of CaseKing. It's just that I've never seen anything of theirs in my neck of the woods. But Thermal Grizzly... I've been a loyal customer since 2019 when I built my most recent PC. Every CPU/heatsink upgrade gets a fresh application of Kryonaut. Recently bought a WireView WV1x8R, and it has performed flawlessly and proved very useful in tracking my power usage and idle states. And I have friends with Lian Li cases bearing the "der8auer" branding that are quite proud of their builds. I can tell at the end of this upload that you were getting emotional. Life changes are HARD. But you are LEGENDARY. Be strong. You have a following that sees great things in you. I have faith that greater things are coming your way.

Our only constant is change. Knowing when to let go and move on without detriment to yourself or others isn't rare but it is tough. Kudos to you, we like you because you are a straight arrow and don't put others down for yourself and nor do you put yourself down for others. Also cats. If Bastet has signed of on you, who am I to argue? The only downside? It'll be tough for someone to fill your boots at Caseking; helluva an act to follow but a helluv an example. Really interesting video, you came such a long way. So funny my hwbot profile still shows me and 8-Pack on the case king hwbot team haha. I was so excited when you invited me to that team. I wish we would have went further with it. Miss those days. XOC was so much fun then. Also the pre-binned case king cpus you were selling, that was a really cool service. Was actually cheaper than binning as an individual. Also had alot fun with the Asus power board from you and 8-pack, got a lot of great scores with 8000 series cards with that thing, felt special cause nobody else had one haha. I really like the way you explore hardware. Have used a lot of your gpu volt mod guides that are out there, especially the nvidia 8000 series cards, those were so fun to mod and overclock, but would be hard for me without those guides. You have done a lot for the overclocking community and have always been really nice, approachable and helpful. You seem like a very genuine and loyal person and im sure people realize that. You have to do whats best for you, because if your not happy nothing else really matters.

One day, I will directly die cool my AMD 7950X, but with an Artic Two 420 AIO having purchased your short backplate, I need help finding a way to get the holes lined up. Not one of life's great emergencies and with an R23 all-thread score of over 39,000, it's not a significant concern. I will wait for the next Ryzen CPU to come along. I have used your liquid metal since I was on Intel 9900k and KS chips, and I love the challenge of stable overclock for a productive system. Thank you for your KZbin help and products. PS is 74 years old and still building and overclocking to within a KHz of the CPU's ability daily. I have managed up to 6800 MT/s Second on the DDR 5 but that is fast enough. What fun, though, and that is why I love your tutorials.

Creative freedom is one thing, corporate freedom is another.. the good people you have met on your journey will always hold a meaningful place for you both on a business and personal level. Ultimately Grizzly is your main focus along with your staff; you created wonderful products which are essentially top tier standard i.e. what Noctua is for fan cooling. I can't wait to see your new content with your overall creative freedom being exactly that, free. There is a line between a business and a hobby; you wan't to be in the space where you can be part and enjoy both without being burn out. Having been close to a burn-out myself (started to have panic-attacks, ears ringing, blurry vision and feelings of depletion) I can understand taking steps back. Eventually age goes up and energy goes down and what not more, a tough but very good decision!

It's hard to leave a place you love but sometimes it is the right decision to do that even though your heart might not quite have gotten the message just yet. Leaving the place allows you to free up time for other endeavors and new adventures. It also will help your own company as having a founding member that has to split their time is usually not a great thing for any organization. I love to work your company is doing and I enjoy your video's here on youtube. I hope you will keep up the good work and am looking forward to seeing all the new stuff you are going to bring us in the future.

It was nice to hear your background and how handsome Toni took you under his wings. I think the words you might be looking for were "managerial skills" with running a business with employees. It's sucks to leave a company and a job you love, but (going back to management) you can only do so much as a person. Plus just because you're not employed there doesn't mean personal relationships have to end. That's the best thing about our small community of nerds (relatively speaking). I've had 1 Toni in my life so far, learned so much and could experiment with new ideas all the time. Unfortunately there wasn't any ability to progress in my career there, so now I'm in a completely different field searching for a new Toni (in my case his name is Marcus). Hopefully I'll find another soon. So many ideas, just no one will let me try them. (Financial software for the terrible healthcare industry we have in the states, I dream of a single payer system)
