Best advice to all drivers, "AVOID LEASE CONTRACTS"

I always hear drivers say that but why leasing is bad?

@bosslifeyourtrucker9622 As a company driver, you have practically no risks. You simply need to drive safely, pick up and deliver on time, and stay legal. Absolutely no risks. On the other hand, the company tries to convince drivers the opportunity to have greater freedom and actually purchase a truck at the end of the lease. During the discussion of the lease, the numbers tell the story. However, if you allow the company to tell the story, the numbers are vastly consorted. I created a simple Excel calculator to determine driver profit based on the criteria of the lease. These numbers do not lie. They are factual. Some of the constants are as follows: example... Weekly Revenue range advertised: $7,000 - $10,000 (Minus 12% Dispatch Admin Fee) Current Market Weekly Avg. Rates: Flat $7k...........$6,160 Reefer $6k......$5,280 Dry Van $5k...$4,400 Fuel ⛽️ EIA $3.976 2022 Unit 7 mpg. 3000 mile week 428 gallons @ $3.976 = $1,703 Truck payment $800 Trailer payment $250 Cargo, Liability, Bobtail $250 Registration, Plates, Admin $35 ELD, Tablet, Internet $30 $1,365 And here is the most important factor: maintenance fee Some companies charge up to 12 cents a mile to cover maintenance: $360 Total Expenses $1,365 $0,360 $1,703 $3,428 If you generate $5,000 in weekly revenue, your gross pay will be $4,400 Minus Expenses $3,428 $972 Net * Remember escrow deduction If you generate $6,000 in weekly revenue, your gross pay will be $5,280 Minus Expenses $3,428 $1,852 Net * Remember escrow deduction If you generate $7,000 in weekly revenue, your gross pay will be $6,160 Minus Expenses $3,428 $2,732 Net * Remember escrow deduction Tolls and other ancillary expenses or fees may be incurred as well. The greater the revenue, the greater the net, but that is the problem in today's market. Carriers adjust their costs based on the current market rates with the lease program. Therefore, it's not always Apples to Apples it's carriers to drivers... You can use this format, and at least you will have the questions that you can fill in the blanks with their answers, and I'd be happy to email you my template if requested. Please programs benefit carriers because essentially the driver is making the least payment every week for the carrier. As long as they have a driver sitting in that seat at least they can make their lease payments to the bank even if the carrier does not make a profit overall they're getting their payments made and starving off the inevitable for the time being

How fast were you going that you got smoking brakes? I even go down the I-70 in Colorado and only use my jake brake. If you obey the speed limit, this should not happen. I couldn’t finish watching this video. Please prepare your videos before you press record.

@@bosslifeyourtrucker9622 There is no structure, you are looking for what to say next, and start but don’t finish a sentence or change halfway through. That way it’s hard to follow and I will lose my focus and so interest in watching till the end.
