I dont think kiri doing damage is the biggest problem. The real issue is that she can play like a flanker while having 2 get out of jail free cards. It takes the entire risk away. Also its easier to hit the semitruck-sized kunai hitboxes up close than it is to get kills as most dps.

plats hit less, and have no game sense in general, put a plat on prime tracer and he will lose with the same probability as the Kiriko player. Stats say nothing, obviously people in GM1 and above will die less to Kiriko, that doesn't imply that she doesn't need a change, her kit is way to powerful, she should be good at one thing and mediocre at least at the other, just look at Lucio or Zen, Zen = no movement, mediocre heals but high damage and tank burn, Lucio = huge movement, bad heals, mediocre damage. @@ZzsiegzZ

remove suzu immo and nerf her damage, remove baps burst heals from shift and make it heal over time for less, rework lifegrip completely, saving out of position players is overtuned and unhealthy, rework healing pylon and lower illari's damage by 15%... then the game is suddenly balanced crazy

So I'm a winston player and kiri is by far the most annoying supp to kill. Suzu, tp, climb wall, tp, and suzu again. It gets very frustrating but I get alot of value forcing tp and suzu even though it feels awful to play against so I'm not sure how it feels with other roles or how they should change her in the first place. Please give me yalls opinions I'm interested.

imagine if your zen or ana getting dive by divers(winston,tracer,genji,echo etcc). thats why supports like kiriko exist, due how easy is to dive sp and get away with it and this kinda frustration keeps increasing the higher you climb because dps players are getting better and also the argument asking for your teammates to peel for u is irrelevant since most players in ranked develop this mindset"everyman for himself" and also even if you do get peel, usually its not consistent , since your teammates will be distracted by the other enemy team that is constantly pushing. so as a master rank sp main ,kiriko is the best thing that happen that any sp main can ask for(sp mains dont deny). So for once sp players can defend themselves and their is actually a risk trying to dive her. not the low risk and high reward strategy that dps divers and tank enjoy for years by turning their brains off and click wm1 24/7.

Projectiles are usually compensated because they have travel time, they aren't hit scan. Idk in training range I don't know what you mean by elephant sized projectiles is they're a video showing off her projectiles or you just making things up? They should be larger then hitscan or you could increase travel time but decrease projectile size.

Everybody is always complaining that support character can do DPS, but I don't think many people would enjoy the role if all you could do was sit back and pump heals into ur teammates, and run away every time you get flanked or dived. Sure, dying randomly to a Kiriko sucks, so does dying randomly to a torb or a hanzo or a junkrat (I can't defend suzu tho).

It’s ok that supports do some damage but some supports do way too much. The only exception imo is Ana and zen and that’s because they don’t have an escape. If zen and Ana didn’t do the amount of damage they do then they would be literal prey for Sombra tracer Genji etc

​@@heartsforjade1559 I agree that supports do more than any other role, but some of that is just healing teammates that aren't under imminent threat and are moving predictably or standing still, or pumping heals into a tank. Both of those things are needed in order for the game to be fun for anyone, but offer little skill expression and aren't fun themselves. Are supports really doing more than other roles even if we exclude that?

Now tank has as many carry heroes as support, maybe more. Mauga, sigma, hog, JQ, full charge zarya. Supp has bap, kiri, ana who are insanely strong and flexible but don’t necessarily carry the game the same way a tank does when enabled or straight diffing
