I disagree. Women also have desires too. if a man walks outside of the home he’s going to face temptations if a woman works out to she’s going to phase them too. it’s just a stay at home mother will not face such things very frequently. But it’s our responsibility to fulfil our commitment not just as a chore but sincerely and have consideration. and you see, a relationship goes both ways it’s not like the woman didn’t work all day so when you see your husband coming home with a frown then it’s unfair to expect a smile sincerely from the wife. just like a husband can be filled with resentment so can a wife. No relationship can be healthy without two way effort. If your wife has to smile so does the husband. and if the husband constantly can’t fulfil his commitment, of course, the wife will not be pleased. if the wife constantly was late, the husband wouldn’t either. Just like husbands are human so are the wives. Yes, we should be kind and welcoming. But not one sided. also, if the wife constantly addresses something and the husband does not take seriously when his wife tries to communicate, he’s not very considerate. he needs couple therapy or individual therapy. Instead of being defensive, he needs to listen to what his wife is trying to say. that is just basic communication. if you want kindness and consideration, you must be kind and considerate. Also deliberately giving someone the cold shoulder to make them apologise even when they’re not at fault you are that’s manipulation that’s not healthy at all. If you do something wrong you need to address it and make up for it and not repeat that again instead of giving cold shoulder and making her apologise.

This is great advice. But The silence doesn’t work with my wife. I only do it so she doesn’t keep insulting me and disrespecting me. I voice myself by saying “hey I don’t appreciate the way you’re speaking to me.” All I continue to get is insults so I try to walk away sometimes. But unfortunately, even the silence is just a temporary solution, just for my own peace of mind. Her ego is too big to ever admit any mistake. If I feel sad she won’t care.
