I do not agree with even the idea to gather information. The ORAL is completely useless!. This is an inherent bastardization of the OSP's mandate. Does the OSP not always post on their handles that anyone with information on suspicious acts should contact them? So is this to suggest people don't trust the OSP but will rather give the information to another team that will later give the same information to the OSP to prosecute? So are we saying we can't trust the OSP with information gathering but we can trust it with prosecution? Such stupidity. This is going to be a very long 4 years.

How many people can the osp alone attend to? How many cases can they focus on at once.

Wasn’t there EOCO, CHRAJ, SFO and others before OSP was set up? ORAL Team are not taking any pay so what’s your beef? Suddenly in Ghana, well meaning citizens and CSOs have been so loud about how Mahama is going about tackling corruption. Rest!

Alright tell me which bill passed by parliament supports the creation of that oral committee? cause at the very least these existing bodies are recognizable by our existing laws! Who cares if they wont get paid? What sensible work will they be doing in the first place that requires them to be paid? when the national coffers is already paying people to do the same work? Did the scam okudzeto not claim he had intercepted info etc during the tenure of this same government only for the useless claims he made to be debunked by these same institutions?
