Haram in this term means that both of these cities are sacred. There must not be any war, crimes, bloodshed, etc commited….they should be the best example of how Islamic nations should be.

haram in Arabic language has two meanings: prohibited and honorable. in the meaning of prohibited the narator has explained, haram also means sacred.. the holy mosque or the holy land because of ITS special histories of prophet even prophets...

Haram in Arabic is forbidden or prohibited, honorable in Arabic is شريفة او مشرف so the name of Medina is ( honorable prophet masjid) and Mecca is called ( forbidden masjid of mecca )

What this video said about meaning of "Haram" is truth but there is more.. "Haram" here also mean, people who go there(mecca & madinah) must not have "ill/bad intensions" to any situation he/she found or with the people he/she met. Example, 1.if u promise to meet ur friend at the kaabah, u must say "insya allah lets meet infront of the kaabah. If u dont say "insya allah", Allah will punish u(meaning Allah will show u instantly that what ur are doing is wrong. Allah will guide u to do the right ways) 2.u must not think/feel bad about people/situation ur encounter. Say u roommate at the hotel u staying is sick & u dont like it & started saying in ur heart/mind(not ur mouth) "danmit u are so annoying, always sick all the time, STUPID". Well this behaviour is a SIN(only in mecca & madinah). Other places, u say something bad in ur mind/heart, its not consider a sin. Only when u do the actually bad thing it become a sin. So, again here, Allah will punish u & again insya allah guide u to do the right thing. Sory i only give u these 2 examples just to show u what "haram" really means. It mean, u must come(mecca & madinah) with pure, good intentions, to worship Allah ONLY. Be patient with the people or situation u encounter because all of it is a TEST from Allah. ALLAH PURPOSELY TEST U WITH GOOD/BAD PEOPLE/SITUATION AT MECCA & MADINAH TO TEACH/GUIDE U TO BE A BETTER PERSON. TO BE A PERSON WITH IMAN & TAQWA INSYA ALLAH.

It is both Mecah and Madina are both places that you shouldnt keep your heart bad things, or curse pple,or hate pple in deepin your heart, forget hurting anyone, also non-Muslims cant go to those 2 MASJIDS The 2 most holy places in Earth believe or not, Allah will punish you very quickly if you try to hurt the people of those 2 places so they are in the peace place You cant even hurm animal or insects any living things, there no place on Earth that can say that only Islamic holy places MECAH AND MADINA and I'm lucky to be Muslim.
