It’s the number of elementary keeping errors. Lack of awareness. Every other clip is of a keeper unaware that the dribble forward to the edge of the box or the short pass to a defender is going to end in disaster. I watch so many local football matches at district league four and five level. In a city with no professional club. They are played on a field opposite my home with three matches being played simultaneously every Saturday and sometimes one or two on Sunday. (Diglis Field in Worcester if you are wondering) In 22 years of watching maybe a thousand or so games, I’ve only ever once seen one amateur low level male keeper make this mistake. And he was about 50 years old at the time.

In men's football, goalies (vast majority of them) are as athletic as the position players (and have a lot of skill too). In women's football, usually the biggest and slowest player is "asked" to become a goalie.

1. Women's football looks tougher. It isn't. They are half the weight going at half the speed with half the density. 2. Attendee figures are bolstered by giving out thousands of free tickets. The tickets that are sold are a quarter of the price. 3. I play for a Sunday league team that would mop up any of these women teams. They want everything for free and expect demand and stamp their foot like toddlers. Pay women fairly I say. Take the money mens football gives them away, pay them the same percentages the men get from winning. (Men get less of a cut) and let's see how these hobbyist handle a season being paid 3 grand.

To be fair, we've also seen mistakes like this in men's football. The problem with women's football is the speed. When the game is fast, mistakes like that happen. But when the tempo is slow, such mistakes shouldn't happen so often and some things are almost in slow motion. So it's a question of skill, but it's mainly because of the slow pace of the game which makes the mistakes by far worse.

I watch quite a bit of men's football (Premier League/ La Liga/ Champions League) and i've seen quite a number of incredible goalkeeper blunders as well as incredible striker misses. Maybe it happens more often in the Women's game, but make no mistake, it happens a lot in the men's game too. A quick KZbin search, will do.

I love watching women’s football. I would rather watch it than the WNBA. The pro athletes in the US don’t know how to shut up and just play their game. I tune into sports to get some relief from stress. I sure as hell don’t want to watch or hear about some pro athlete’s politics. I mean what Alisha Lehmann did when she got of the bus the other day was beautiful. That’s what I want to see. Men have been playing football professionally since 1863... And I can assure you that i can do a bloopers compilation of male players even better than this one ahah so it is no surprise the difference in level but in such a short time women's league have become more and more competitive bringing talent from around the world. I have no doubt women will expose very higher levels of technique and performance in no time

obviously you don't understand about statistics, the probability of such absurd situation happening in Men's football, is quite low, and even lower in important games for elite clubs and important competitions. Is rather normal in "high performance" Women's footy

ideal football, more bloopers less fouls (hopefully) , just make sure to make some nice plays either outrunning or kicking the ball nicely , vouila , and use the head less to avoid concussions.

Everything I saw in this clip, I've seen in men's football before. Ask Oliver Khan. As great as he was, a very slow back pass to him in a very big international tournament, it passed under his foot and into the net. Even the men's mistakes make the women look like angels of football.
