This is the greatest point people don't think about Yag. THANK YOU ANDREW! Furthing the point; as Yag, you should be looking for your healer! NOT the other way around. Also your healer is not obligated to change their position and sacrifice their value for the team. Supports need to watch the whole fight take fold.

@@SpiltMySquash and that is without her ultimate, but andrew chicken do not know that because he keep playing Yagorath wrong. Yagorath does more damage than Raum and can outheal all the damage he does for 3 seconds. Admittedly, he did do some things right on Yagorath in this video. The play style was somewhat right. The ultimate use was wrong, the loadout was wrong, the items was wrong, the use of Hardening was wrong, and that is why he lost.

Champions have setups that works better. if I play a champion depended on my team to do everything, I can not be upset when we lose because I am not helping out. but if I play a champion depended on self, I can only be mad at myself if things go wrong and I can work to fix that. the reason why furia kept following him is because furia players been told that beam and yagorath is good when in reality it is actually one of the worse as this video shown you. But if furia left Yagorath to herself, she would have died over and over because the loadout he used did not have much self healing. Work on yourself to be a benefit for your team

I was about to say "no, it's a dr oriented viewer build", but then I realized that the build didn't save, and so I was still using the lifesteal build that was originally there XD So yes, I would be losing a lot to diminishing returns. I can't believe no one noticed I was using the wrong build until this comment.

I find it really difficulty to play Yag like this when the enemy team stays grouped up. Every time I try to attack I just get focused down and killed instantly. Any advice?

Ok I'll give you real advice- Don't be a lazy yag. Rolling around and dashing/ using the acid as some sorta area denial is more useful then someone might think (I find it can be annoying for barik. Lol gets them a little panicky taking tick damage) . Staying in your travel form in advance helps with easier escape since you take 10 years to get rolling. Planting requires a little game sense. I would try to be 95% sure the situation is in your favor to hold the point. Never take 6k health and a healer for granted. I myself watch my health like a hawk and if it's starts getting shredded to half I dash the hell out of there to my healer. Spamming the uh anti skye ability (I really don't know names...) helps too.

I'll be honest- I don't suggest using life rip. The amount you get is way wayyyy too little for a dummy thicc 6k health worm. I would only use it if your healer can't keep you healthy long enough but then again if you can consistently get kills then kill to heal would be more useful. I would tell you about loadout but uh again I don't remember any of that stuff.

Also something I wish I could tell every yag I come across is *DONT BE AFRAID TO RETREAT.* for real. I believe someone is more useful alive then dead. At least if you retreat you can heal up and return to the point. By then your teammates should've respawned and should be heading back.

@@gameofpsychology old veteran added 15% more out of combat healing which cut her out of combat healing time by nearly half from 16.11 seconds down to 9.11 seconds if she had 1 health point New veteran just give you more health. Haven is better. Life RIP is better. Even kill to heal can be better but the little health you are getting from this veteran is not worth it.

i play a lot of yag being a point tank cuz i play casuals and without friends, so i'm a only tank most times, i dont get focused as much, but my healers do. plus, off tank yag is weird to me, having to keep changing places and all of that

I am a level 192 Yagorath and I am telling you stop playing her on point. Attack their backline or protect your backline. You don't have to take my word on this as you can watch my recent videos. All they have to do is go after your backline then you and get cauterize 3. Once they all get cauterize 3, you will not live in the open. Also go for loadouts that are full self healing or middle self healing and stun reduction. Yagorath is a frontline and can do 90% of the damage she does in self healing for 3 seconds with the right loadout and items and 50% after that, if there is no fall off. Also cauterize, morale boost, rejuvenate, and chronos are the in the worst items to get for her as haven, resilience, and life RIP are so much more beneficial for Yagorath. cauterize used to be a 6 item pick for Yagorath, now it moved to the fourth item because blast shield is no more and veteran is below worthless now. Also keep moving with Yagorath. That's her whole thing. 5 second rule. Can you get a kill in 5 seconds, if no, time to move. She is meant to be both an unstoppable and immovable force

The reason people don't use frontlines is because you are calling them "tanks" in the first place and people think they should just sit on point. You are literally the cause of what you hate

@@darkstalkerknight63 i call her and every other "frontline" a "tank" because their job is literally negating/taking the damage for others, not because they sit on point. i also didn't say i hate playing as a "tank", i do dislike it because most times i have to sit on point and be dependant on my team, or said i hated playing casuals cuz of people not choosing tanks. i'm just playing yag the way i like it, sometimes, very rarely i get to play her as a off tank.

I like playing rolly polly yag. I feel like if you don't have hella clutch heals, being a lazy point yag just doesn't work. My mentality is you're more useful if you retreat and live. Staying on point 24/7 is really really not a good idea

That being said... this does not mean yag shouldn't be on point ;;. I've met a few yags that take the whole off tank too seriously and leave the point only to die out of healer range. Yags dps is decent but getting kills isn't that easy. I can't lie I steal kills as yag often. It's pretty easy to do so.

Yag can be a decent point tank. What I do is roll around on the point and make people aim. I mean it's not much but it helps me get out of a pickle with the dash thing uh I don't memorize abilities. I only really plant myself when I feel safe to get kills or I'm being healed really well.

Been maining yago since release I don’t rock point yago that much and I’ve seen so many yago players use acceleration to get to point faster then stay on point by their self and end getting melted plus point yago isn’t very fun to play either That being said she is an alright point tank but only in certain maps I sometimes go point yago on bazaar and ascension peak (my favs for point yago) and use acceleration for getting out

Yag does more work on point by moving around allies' body blocking. Onlt go planted when you can single out 1-2 targets. WHEN 3 OR MORE enemies engage. Find environmental cover (objects or allies) body block. Only harden when singling 1 target on the enemy side to pull attention and retreat. IN CONCLUSION: Play Yagowrath like a School yard bully who's really into Wrestling and wants to become a Wrestler when they grow up.

Almost all things done in this vid makes you dead agaist a little decent Ranked team..... Most of the Time His team wipedout all oposition... Obiously that makes It look easy to Flank...
