People are more likely to want to inform viewers about secrets in the game for profit which is logical we all run bussiness but this also creates a ACT NOW mindset with metas... look at cod the whole game is "this is meta now" for every video. A little correction here . The original BT3 did not have the mechanic you’re referring to about about the vanish war , the BT3 mod/ bt4 mod introduced that . The original BT3 only had the feature you’re referring to is only in story mode

People are a victim of their own attention span. As soon as the game came out all I heard and saw were people trying to UNLOCK EVERYTHING FAST. FASTEST WAY TO UNLOCK EVERYTHING. WASTING YOUR ULTIMATE SHENRON WISH ON ETC. People even complaining about how long it takes to get to Level 20… Like they’ve never played Halo before trying to get to Hero rank or 152 in Halo 5 lol. It takes years…. This game has been out for barely a month. And it’s like you want everything this instant right now but you don’t know the cost of it. People spammed SSJ Goku vs. Frieza for zeni, and ring out easy wins for dragon balls to wish for more zeni when they could’ve ya know…. JUST PLAYED THE GAME. I unlocked everything at a decent pace just by completing episode mode and played offline enjoying and trying to master each character. I get a great kick out of split screen too. It’s a really FUN game to play. But when you’re taking it too seriously and just farming your way thru it, well of course you’re done with it this soon. You forgot how to actually PLAY a game. People are too busy trying to WORK the game instead of play it. Exploiting everything they can for cheap progress and cheap experience. Just play the dang game. It’s fun and fine. It isn’t perfect but it’s not as bad as people are saying. It’s a huge throwback to when games were simpler. People are too spoiled these days with huge games and getting everything they want FAST. You’re ruining the game yourself.

This game is a throwback to when games were simpler. Maybe I just appreciate a well played game more than spoiled players who need everything to be perfect. That doesn’t mean the game can’t improve. Story mode could definitely use an improvement. Idc for online. And those custom battle modes are interesting and fine for a bit. The OP characters thing would be so easy to fix IF THEY WANTED TO. Make 4 or 5 possible power level tiers. Base, 1, 2, 3, and 4, each with power spikes. Take normal Goku, base tier, normal power lever. As he goes super saiyan and beyond he jumps up in tiers granting him power spikes. Now take SSJ4 Goku straight into a match but even tho he is SSJ4 he didn't power up to that point, so he would remain at base power level. That would encourage players to power up n move through transformations rather than always picking SSJ4 Gogeta, Vegito, and the other broken characters. It is super easy. They just don't want to. We asked for this. Edit: those old vanish war clashes absolutely ruined the pacing of the fights. I hated them. Especially when it goes on n on like 6 times. Sometimes I would lose them on purpose to keep the pacing.

As Budokai Tenkaichi 2 veteran and having played Tenkaichi 3 also there is so many issues in this game ITS INSANE like everything feels hella backwards compared to the previous games. -No Ki Sickness - Z Counter giving to much Skill Count - Earning 1 Skill Count when losing a Health Bar - No Color 2 if players picked the same character or being able to choose a Preset at all - Input Delay On Console - Having the ability to mash Super Counter since you can still do it in Hitstun & the Cooldown is lower & Window is bigger - No Ki Blast Cooldown in Sparking Mode - Perception being spammable even though I know how to deal with it myself - Ranked matches not telling you the internet connection or the disconnect rate & the game not telling you if they are Wifi or Wired in general - DONT love the way Player matches is in this game AT ALL should be called Endless Matches if anything - Not being able to change certain actions depending on what control scheme you pick and not able to cuztomize your own buttons since the game chooeses for you - The Cheese Online - Rage Quitters A LOT OF THEM and not getting the points for it just like Tekken 8 I can go on & on but I aint trying to make this comment to long LOL. But all in all this game has HELLA POTENTIAL if they fix the issues I just hope Bandai really makes the game better for everyone cuz at the moment it's NOT GREAT!

Today's games are absolute garbage, I got MK1 for free and thought its absolute shit, after getting 200 wins easily just by spamming, just shows you that there is no new approach to these games, more and more automation, assists, and interactive movie like "games". The gaming industry truly ate shit after 2020 and beyond. MK 11 was made in 2019 right before and you can see how much more love they put into the chars, graphics, story and extra kontent, im not saying the game is perfect, def still has broken sht, but not even close to games like MK 1, the game is much more fun and has more variations and chars for less money. Today's games are all about money grabs, screwing over the player base, and getting to work on reskinning another game like MK to look like injustice 3 and scam us players again for millions! Not fun, not cool, and its time for gamers to wake up, I dont expect new gen kids to understand, but those who played games in the 2000s for sure will!

My top 7 issues: 1. The online games eat my inputs online. How am I supposed to flawlessly practice combos in training mode, and get the wrong combinations online and still want to play? I'm literally being punished for practicing good execution. 2. The online net code is delay based. Which means poor connections, this tilted should have had modern-day rollback. I thought they would have learned that with Fighterz... 3. Super counters are free, basically no combos except ki loops are real in this game. 4. Vanish costs too little ki, Vanish wars end up being super lame and easy to repeat over and over in match. 5. This game is run by the following skills afterimage, full power, wild sense, InstaSpark. These skills need to cost more skill points, or last a shorter duration of time. 6. Why are there unblockable ultimates? Why is there infinite ki blast in sparking? It literally ruins anyone's attempt to win by skillfull play. 7. There is no reason why all characters should not have uniform health in solo ranked PVP. It feels really dumb to die to a character who has an extra health bar than you do where you would have won the match if you had equal amount of health already. I was actually trying to take this game semi seriously, because there's A LOT of potential fun they are leaving on the table. But I feel it lacks so many fundamental needs I kinda just play it for story mode now. Or the occasional overly cheese match online.

My favorite feature of the game is definitely the custom battles. However, there are many quality of life changes that the mode badly needs. Choosing the dialogue options for cutscenes is awfully chaotic. Nothing is in alphabetical order and the filter feature does not do a great job of allowing you to search for what you want to use. I also don’t enjoy how slow it is to edit characters when designing a fight. Instead of being able to select character equipment all at once, you are forced to do it one at a time. It all just feels very archaic.

my only true complaint with this game it's going to be after image strike I quit playing singles after I got to z rank because it's nothing but fusion spammers and I'm not trying to be that guy to just win by using overpowered characters so I try and go in DP battle and it's just a full team of after image strike spammers how are you going to buy a dragon ball game and not want to throw hands, like I seriously don't understand how people have fun playing the game like that I swear once you get past b rank it's nothing but cheesers rage quitters and lag switches if they seriously want to see longevity with this game they need to start listening to their community we haven't even got a patch yet for the rage quitters that they said that they were going to punish now for a couple weeks, but releases other patches that are completely unnecessary and don't help the game connection delay is still terrible, and idk man I really wanted to enjoy this game but the community is making it so hard and unenjoyable it's like the devs don't test the game before they release it, like whose bright idea was it to increase after image strike by an extra 10 seconds from the previous game? it's almost like they wanted to prize spammers in this game and not reward people trying to just have fun. I get that it's Budokai and it's never been balanced but i think we can all agree that the budokai games has never been this un balanced before and they can definitely make a couple changes to make the game better similar to Budokai 3.

My problem is that it’s always the same 4/6 characters I fight in ranked, and it’s always meta characters I never have a fun match, it’s always: I fight, beat their fist character (usually teen goku, bardock, or videl) and Z broly or a ginyu force member or both and they quit when I’m about to win, or I get beaten because of unblock-able spam

Things id Fix I think Ki Sickness just has to be put in the Game because its a Essential mechanic to make people not instant Sparking Spam Vanish Wars or make them like they were in Budekai or Make it speed up quickly to the point someone will lose Super Counters have to Cost Skill Points When you hit someone with a Gut Punch or Break there Guard you should be awarded a free hit

If I remember correctly, Raging Blast 2 max power would deplete a bit for every ki blast fired instead of free ki blasts. This could be a way to mitigate ki blast spam if necessary. If full power is being used often, that means blast stocks are being generated fast. Don't vanish wars contribute to that?

It was never suppose to be competetive. The people that came from true fighting games like Street fighter and co should remember it's an Arena Fighter. Never meant for high competitive play. For me it will never die. First of all. Custom Stories. Like endless ideas for you to experience. Then again. Tournament mode. For me personally the most fun mode. Especially yamchas. Just everyone gets a random character and go for it. I get some features are missing, but I am more confused about the fact you got a chat in the tournament lobbies, but can't type in it to pass time. Like why is it only a log for connecting and disconnecting from the lobby? So yeah sure the wave of players was fun, but we gotta be honest. It's a fun fighter. Not a competitive fighter.

The problem being most people treat it like it is. Using only fusions and ultra instinct, using the surfboard move before an ultimate every single time they can. I just fought someone who started as Z gogeta, he only did specials after knockbacks and wouldn't stand 2ft from me without a counter up. He also used toppo's unblockable ultimate 4 times in a row. Like straight back to back, i dodged 3 of them. I ended up losing to ssj4gogeta. Can't wait to fight the exact same team next round, not even on ranked

@@dylancox2157 I use Base Goku, and I make absolute sure to avoid the 3 Skill point Instant Sparking, which leads to the Unblockable spirit bombs. I can build it up enough to use it twice. But it would be so lame to do that! And then I end up regretting it, because my opponent has no qualms using the ultimate immediately. And I hate the beat ‘em, join em mentality, cause then I’d have to cheese just like them. And Id end up having no fun at all.

The game is suffering from a lot of shortcomings and the biggest one in my opinion is definitely how unpolished the mechanics are. They need to rip WAY more from bt3, the way the skill count increases needs to be tweaked vanish wars and getting beat does not need to increase the meter. Dragon dashing needs to be way faster and less ki consuming and the mini dash which carries your momentum shouldn't cost any ki for real, it makes the movement way less clunky and smooth. There should be a ki and skill sickness to prevent insta spark and AIS from running rampant only to repeat the cycle, vanish enders absolutely need to be in this game on top of increasing the speed, not only is it more hype, it's more fair. Let revenge counters be the main way to escape back shots or bring back the blaster wave that took health and make super counter a challenge. Why does holding block alone reflect ki blast, make us need to flick the left and right stick. Can you make generic dragon dashing faster and get rid of that stupid tracking energy blasts have? They actually need to buff the ki volley attacks, they all suck, the list goes on, the base mechanics need to be overhauled more than the characters do. P.S This ain't even mentioning the lack of single player content. You can't really enjoy the story of dragon ball since so much is missing, no ultimate battle, no Sim dragon, survival mode, the customization is lackluster, barely any stages and while custom battle is the best mode any tenkaichi game has ever had, they need to fix the Ui to make the process WAY less painful, it took me hours to find the right dialougue options for my personal custom battle. I wanna make a story but it takes forever to make it how I want, let us search for the words we want by typing it, makes way more sense then whatever is currently in place. More people need to understand that this game is not free from criticism, most people are reasonable and want the game to be the best it can possibly be.

I haven’t touch the game for several days because I’m bored to wait for one or several opponents to join. A world tournament can make you wait 10 minutes to find half the players needed. I tried to convince someone to try the game but the waiting time in lobby killed all his desire to try again.
