I think the intentions of this signing were to make sure we had a world class replacement for harry Kane as conte knows ball he also knows Kane will jump ship if we played bad (I’ve had a dislike for Kane for a few years despite being a Tottenham fan since I was born) and Richardson is faster younger and has that same physicality just in a smaller package + pigeon dance 😏

Spurs will need to get over the "hump" of what I call the Bergwijn Syndrome (where players want to play first team ball all the time). Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, and Man U all have gotten over that hump. If Richarlson, Perisic, Moura, Højbjerg, Bissouma, and Bentancur can accept that they aren't going to always start due to having a solid squad rotation, then we can accomplish some amazing things this season and the next. This World Cup couldn't have come at a worst year for Spurs honestly.
