Exactly. The dog didn't look like he had food, just a dirty bowl for a dog the size of a full grown shepherd or an animal that size. That's why I love dogs. They're better than a lot of ppl. Too expensive. However, I would def keep an eye out for more there. And try to help. Clean bedding, bowls, collar, bones & try to walk it around the junkyard, to get it some exercise when I could. Ppl like that always have a dog around to abuse. 😥

What is the deal with guard dogs? Get motion lights or close a gate after a certain time or there are many other security options, but a puppy!? He'd lick a bad guy. I'm so glad that they both found loving homes. Nice ladies.

I completely agree with u. My medical service dog is so awesome, but I also have 2 other dogs. They live inside with us (as all pets should) but they also bark if someone pulls up. And my Shepherd actually took down my abuser and saved my life. Burglars will always say they avoid houses with dogs. But that doesn’t mean that they should be left outside by any means. They can go out into the fenced in yard thru the doggie door as much as they want during the day. But about 6pm-6am we lock the door so they stay inside. Pets aren’t lawn ornaments and shouldn’t be treated as such. It’s also been proven that a well cared for dog and loved, will protect its human and home because it loves u. Negative training always ends badly.

@@guardiansanimalrescuestate7289 funnily enough the few burglars I have met told me that they always got on well with dogs. Plus i had 3 large dogs who preferred being outside in their big roomy kennel. They were healthier as well. Shiny coats etc. As they got older they moved back inside. My current dogs prefer to be outside in cooler weather. My door is permanently open so they can choose. Where I live summers are hot so they are inside with me in the cool.
