Went to Pensacola Beach to do some surf fishing with some amazing anglers. Our surf fishing plans were changed almost immediately after walking up to the beach. Good thing I always bring a lure when surf fishing or I would have missed out.

Dang, dude, that was killer! Bonito, Red, and Pomp on the same day! That’s Winter surf fishing in Florida at its best! I reckon Alabama too! I’m hoping first week of September in Miramar/Destin is half as productive. Not sure what fish other than Pompano, Whiting, and Lady Fish might be roaming about, but I hope to have a couple of sand bars so I can sling something long.

Definitely a great day on the beach. September is a great month on the surf. Pompano, Whiting, Bluefish, Ladyfish, Blue Runners, Spanish Mackeral, Jacks, and Sharks. I bet your pumped up to go! Have a great weekend.

You might not want to give out the location, but I am going to asked anyway. What area of Pensacola were at? We are coming down next weekend to fish. Will be out first time fishing in Pensacola. Our goal is to make videos from different areas on the gulf.

Honestly you can fish any beach access along Pensacola Beach and have successful trips. Google maps will show you all of the public access spots. Just stay away from the pier (swimming areas) and you'll be golden. Hope you have a fun and successful trip!
