I spotted Ryken's name on the results board above Luke's race... It's kind of amusing to me that there's this little PNW community of BMX/MTB/MX riders on KZbin :P Big congrats to Mason and Lillian! Luke bike doesn’t seem to have the low end gearing. I could be wrong. A lot of variables, shifting, traction and rider. But when he takes of with other bikes he seems to lose ground. I raced in to my 40’s and realize not everything is what it seems when your watching. But all the kids did great. I also have a 3 year old that is learning to ride now and he loves watching the big kids race. He is so excited to race like your kids.

Mason absolutely deserves first! Can’t believe that people would think that because riders ahead of him made mistakes and went down somehow deserve to have their positions held until they get back up and resume where they were! Riding is racing, falling is racing, crashing is racing, losing and gaining position is racing, even if it is by others mistakes, is racing. Now, if Mason had CAUSED the falls, that is another story!
