A man showed me his interest, and I showed my interest back to him. At some point he made sexual advances and I communicated my standards by suggesting that the thing he is after is valuable (not easily given away). He texted things like: he's busy. His communication then stopped for weeks. This is insulting to woman with boundaries because that sends a message that he doesn't agree that that thing is valuable as he can get it easily elsewhere and that's what he expected from me, and he's not willing to put in efforts for me. Emotionally self-regulated woman who knows her worth will obviously not initiate another communication with him.

THIS! Growing up, -I saw my mom treated poorly by my dad. Yet she would constantly be catering to him and always in the kitchen making him food (basically mothering him like a child). The more she did for him, the worse he was to her (silent treatment, snarky remarks etc..). He flirted & had emotional goings with other women. I learned from their dynamic that doing more of what's not appreciated already,- won't win a man's affection or make him suddenly love/appreciate you.

Yes, men can be selfish and also cunning, and when they like a woman, they prefer to protect their ego from rejection (their deepest fear), and instead they give her signs (green lights) for her to chase them/ ask them out to see if they can get what they want without taking a risk of being rejected. But there is a darker side to it, too. I have learnt that they often hold back because they are too reluctant to put in effort (they feel they're entitled just by what they have already achieved in their lives and how attractive they are, and putting in extra efforts feels unnecessary), and they're too scared to take responsibility for what will happen in the relation. If SHE asks him out, it will feel to him like the responsibility about whatever that will happen between them, will always rest with HER. But if HE asks her out - it will feel to him like that responsibility will always rest with HIM. He prefers to say: 'Perhaps YOU could invite me for a cup of tea' and then gladly go along with what she will do, instead of saying: 'Can I invite you for a drink?' because that requires risk, effort and responsibility.

Well, I was in a more lush season with his containment, but I do think I overlooked his being more effeminate and should have walked away when he started showing less energy. I am super feminine yet have the dark feminine. I didn't heed that need to give space when he started to devalue me, and switched into pick me behavior. It can be hard to not go into mommy energy, especially since I do have a young child. So the roles have been flipped with him being the prize and he broke up with me. I was in between states, and your video reminded me to get back on track.

I agree women shouldn't be easy but you don't have to be difficult...it's not hard to see when someone is trying to exploit something from you if you even have a bit of awareness. Don't go above and beyond but, be down to earth and assertive in the same breath. Humor helps.....serious tone with good eye contact also gets the point across. But, you better be about THAT LIFE. Dear Fareen, could you please share some wisdom for the woman who is living with her ex? I am in that situation right now. We were on and off for 2 years. He was the one who ended the relationship the last time a few month back. Now I had to leave my apartment urgently and don't really have money or anybody to move in with, so my ex offered me to move in with him until I have money and a plan. Until then we make a pact, that nobody will date anyone because it would be weird. It is hard for me because i have feelings toward him, but I know he doesn't love me, and i am hurt as well so I have no intentions to get him back because i feel he doesn't respect me. He helps me, but his communications skills are not so good and really raw, and it was a constant problem throught our relationship. Because of that living situation i don't really feel like a desired woman nowadays ( obviously), and as we agreed, I cannot be open to anybody else to give and recieve love. Now I don't know how to act at home because i don't want to loose my feminine side ,but at the same time i think to be way more masculine in the only way not to get hurt in this living situation.

I rememeber you saying that 'men like modest women'. Modesty shows that a woman doesn't try hard. That a woman doesn't make much effort to get something (an outcome/ result) from them. As soon as a woman identifies a man's interest and she makes an effort and tries hard to impress him, to reinforce his interest, for example she dresses sexier, a man thinks: 'GOT YOU!'. His pursuit to win a woman over stops and he waits for her to continue to try harder for him (chase him etc).

It’s true some men are selfish, but women also make decision if she decides to allow her boyfriend to move in then that’s on her. That’s her mistake for her to learn from but you seem to be smarter so you have no issue with deciphering you will allow a man to take advantage of you.

FWIW, I think the energy in this video was pretty different from other videos that I have seen of you. I guess it is partly because of what you're talking about. I'm not sure if it is different because of this, but I think that you have practically said that you want to use more masculine energy in your videos. No offense, but I'm guessing that you think that you will get more respect from using more masculine energy. This probably relates to what you're saying about you being very feminine. I do think it is interesting, what you said, about being very feminine.

I do everything :) I don’t focus on relationships… I focus on self :) and then from self we move to the relationship etc. but the self is always what I focus on 🤍
