I actually had to give up and ask Google how to get though the Lost Woods. I was convinced there was a pattern to the faces on the trees and I just had to crack the code. My hero's path of that whole section of the map is completely filled in as a solid, no individual paths are visible 😂

To parry a guardian attack, you want to wait until you hear that beep right before he shoots you. If you listen to the sounds, he’s beeping for a while but as he’s about to shoot a laser it’s a different kind of beep (a little louder, and deeper) Once you hear that noise, you’re gonna wanna press A. Sometimes you have to wait a brief half second (hear it, and then press, not as soon as you hear it). For example, for one of the parrys, you’re going to want to party at 8:58-that’s when the sound changes. Hopefully that makes sense!! I’m not trying to be obnoxious or annoying, but I wanted to share what I learned :) It sounds complicated but it works! It takes 3 parry’s for a walker and one with a decaying one.I had no idea until I watched a video on it haha :)

that beep cue doesn't work in MM. the guardians in MM can and do psyche you out, even after they beep and delay their laser a half second to a full second after. in regular mode, the beep and laser fire is always consistent but not in MM. you actually have to be good at spotting the laser blast rather than the audio cue.

that's why we have a BOTW2 coming. calamity ganon was just another scourge (just like the divine beast bosses) and dark beast ganon was just his anger/hatred incarnate. the real boss is down, down, down underground. no doubt the master sword will be needed for the final boss in the sequel.

Dear Danny, The appropriate way to fight a land guardian is to interrupt the lazer with a regular arrow to the "eye", then proceed to beat the shit out of it with whatever you have handy. If it's a flying guardian use bomb arrows in the absence of ancient arrows.

that works 100% on the ones with no legs. the ones WITH legs, however, move around quite a lot right until they fire so it's a bit more difficult. the proper way is to shield parry their lasers so you don't use any weapon durability or arrows. if you can't deflect or you cant shoot its eye to stun as you said, just use an ancient arrow and call it a day.

@@jenniferchough It takes forever to deflect on master mode with it healing itself the whole time, gotta do it like 6 or 7 times, much faster to interrupt and beat, only gotta interrupt a few times. It is incredibly easy to hit the eye in melee range.

I found the master sword came in handy when I climbed a tree and fired from it shooting a Yiga master. When the sword ran out of energy I waited for it to recharged and finished off the Yiga master. The power of the master sword really came through.
