Good to see the Uplift and the trails featured. Both are awesome, hope they get all the trails up and running again soon. There must of been huge amounts of effort gone in. I would love to see some investment on that side as it does seem to live in the shadow of the Golfie a bit nowadays. Hopefully it will feature in EWS again this year!

Thanks Stuart. I agree with you regarding investment. Unfortunately Forestry and Land Scotland don't seem to touch any of their trails these days. I would love it if some of the main DH trails got some love ❤️

Managed to get out myself for the 1st time in 5 weeks this weekend and the storm damage is still there to see, there's a lot of work to be done if they are hoping for the visitor numbers to be up there again this year.. excellent vlog as ever Jamie and a great wee advert for our wonderful valley 🤙

Totally know what you mean about getting motivated to get out when the weather has been so bleak of late. Thankfully yesterdy and today has been 2 pretty cracking days! And it's all over too soon and back t work Monday 😆 - camera work looking pretty awesome too btw. I am still using my gopro 8 but have been thinking of getting a ten. To be honest I can't see a change in the footage. Have you noticed any improvements with the 10?

Hey man. I've been running a 7 so the difference in the footage is quite noticeable. The 7 ran at a bitrate of just under 80mb/s I think, the 8, 9 and 10 at 100mb/s. I can only compare the 10 to the 7 and 9. It operates better than the 7, it has more resolution and frame rate options and is a significant improvement IMO. It improves over the 9 as it actually works whereas the 9 was an awful camera. The only glitch I've found is that the camera will shut down on low battery as soon as you get to 35% battery life or below. If you are happy with your 8 I would leave it. It's an improvement but not game-changingly different 👍

Hi Mike. That is Matador middle. You'd have to ride down from top Matador or head down Gold Run or Cresta and take a left when you get to the fireroad 👍

Quite a difference between the files when viewed directly. You notice higher detail and crispness. Also, the new 'natural' colour option in protune is great. No colour adjustments necessary in post 👍
