This Is Why You're Still Broke - Path of Exile 3.21
Today I go over how to make currency faster than the average player through trade using hideout warrior type strategies and taking advantage of market inefficiencies in order to capitalize on profits. This strategy, mixed with other strategies can reach parallels to league start mirror of kalandra profits and can even get magebloods as early as the second day in the league. I try to tackle broad topics instead of honing in on specifics in order to give you ideas on how to make quick currency without crashing the trade market or influencing it to swing in any direction.
A lot of the strategies explained in this video are strategies that I personally use to get multiple mirrors very early on in a league, enough to carry me through most, if not all of the duration of the league. These strategies have been tried and tested in crucible league by me and have been proven to work if executed properly.
This strategy is not a mapping strategy and therefore will restrict how much actual gameplay you face in the early stages of the league, please keep this in mind, as it can be boring but is still effective. If this wasn't boring and tedious, everyone would be doing it. To help with price checking and item listing, I use the awakened poe trade third party tool in order to check prices in game at the click of a button. This tool saves me a tremendous amount of time and is widely praised by the community for being one of the most helpful tools available, I highly suggest checking it out.
Apart from this I plan on coming out with a new build video on my forbidden rite cast on critical build soon and also plan on going into deep delving in order to display what the profits look like from that strategy so stay tuned for that. so true. i always look for loopholes and I have 2 kids and a full time job. my average play time is 2 hours per day at best. and I make a mirror a league id say. its trading while playing. and anyone can do it - its all about knowing the game, the insane options, and "abusing" mechanic that other players don't know. this league I've decided to actually farm a mirror on a week - and just by utilizing the atlas I can safely say that after 2 days I've farmed morre than 100 divs. great video

It's funny I stumbled across this channel as I see many similarities in our playstyles. There are some great ideas I hadn't heard in this video. In 3.20, I played solo HO warrior and made 500 divines (I also made a FR CoC build). I would have made more if I could have gotten the ball rolling more quickly. I have limited time to play PoE because of IRL responsibilities. It prevented me from playing 3.21 and 3.22. In 3.23 I may put your stacked deck approach to work with my own twist. I'll be researching the market during 3.22 league start instead of playing. I'd like to share it with you sometime if it works in 3.23.

I got lucky my main money maker were formed inviations. They were going for 1 d earlier in the league and now I bulk sell them for 1.5d

so my suggestion is just farmimg heist early, u can start before u even kill kitava and just speedrun heist and get alot of liquid currency and chaos from the chaos reciepe, if u start buying contracts from 60+ you can do that untill lvl 80 or somehting, after that u complete some maps so u can get all the essence nodes and than u just blast low maps for even more chaos reciepe + essences. while u farming all that u buy/invest in stuff that gets more value over time. u dont really need any expierience or be a good player or some shit like that if u just do that for the fist week and play like 7-8hours a day u will make alot of money. like all the stuff u boght/invested in the first week o gonna sell for like 200-300%profit in the next 2 weeks or some shit. like for example i boght about 7-8 The Fourth Vow for like 20-30c each, 2-3 weeks later they were like 1.5-3 div. i failed with some stuff that didnt really raise in price but 70%of the stuff did and some stuff alot like fourth vow for example. but id say if u put at least some thinking into what to invest in u gonna profit way more than u lose.

He just flips whatever he can make money off of. In every league, there is a meta build or two and there are normally ways to flip/craft items for it. The Belton guy he mentioned buys lenses that change the quality of gems and finds an alt-quality gem that sells for a lot with a decent weighting to hit with the lens. Buys the normal quality gem then hits them all with lens, and then a Vaal orb to hit 21/20 gems for multiple divines

How do you scale profits? I was doing some div card, alt gem, invitation flips. Amount of profit is limited by how much trades I can do, and by card/lense/etc supply. Where to invest 100 divines or more? I would prefer to avoid crafting if possible

if you have 100 divines early league you can do something like invest them into enlightens and level them then sell them for double the money you invested into them once demand goes up. similarly you can do with for other exceptional gems. You can also take the approach of investing into divination cards with quick rising prices like the apothercary cards and then sell them once the demand goes up. Alternatively you could buy 100div worth of currency in low bulk trades and then sell them at a mark up i.e: buy 1 sacred orb at a time for 60c each, then sell them in bulk for 100c each. thats just a few ideas, hope this helps

Auction houses are more exploitable and abusable. Flipping by bulk selling is a service people pay for. In an auction house every single item becomes price fixed. In non-auction house I can only price fix things I can do trades for every single one that exists. That would be too many trades.

think about it, you said in the video once you get the ball rolling you make more money with the money you got. so say you put 100 and make 120 then that 20 div / hour beats normal strats. But you don't make that much early on, 100c to 120c in an hour is 20 c / hour You need that capital to get rolling which you get from mapping. So yeah, I agree with you, but no point in doing that when you are actually struggling for 20c profit, 1 map can easily beat that. My strat is to take something to craft inside a blight map and craft the item during the map which makes me money from crafting and looting blight map.

This game brakes all the rules of trading. IRL when you want to buy alot of something, the seller will always give you a discount. POE works as it works because of the players laziness.

It always pisses me off when someone can't say "ty" after a trade. And no it doesn't take 20 minutes if you do 200 trades a day. Pressing enter and typing 2 letters takes 0.1 seconds, not a huge effort. If people dont wanna say ty, then dont, but i'll keep on doing it and i wont miss anything bcs of it.

I dunno if everyone joking here , but flipping is not easier or better than other strats. Player need to know market, cost of items to know what to buy , and overall need much more experience in game than when you mapping. Not to mention that trade is overall pain in the ass in poe. Need to deal with bots , other flippers and this is huge huge problem.

​@@Nate-.-real money trading. The fastest way to make money in 99.9% of trade based games is to get a real job and buy currency. 20 divines is like $6. Imo his take is so bad it's funny. He's basically working as hard as if it was a real job and the only purpose of making that much money is to buy or craft gear that trivializes the game. Imo playing a game is only worth while if it's fun and his delve gameplay doesn't look like much fun to me at all. I could go buy 100 divines right now but if I did I wouldn't have anything to do at all. You can also pay someone to run 5way and level you up extremely quickly while watching Netflix but at that point might as well uninstall and just watch Netflix.

Best video ever made on making currency in POE. No cap. Very well composed and everyone complaining that farming in PoE is hard should see it. Whoever really maps for 4-9 div per hour profit hoping for lucky drops is a crazy person in my eyes. Crazy person with unlimited time. I can make 4x more than best mapping strat from hideout ANY point of the league. Every league I am able to farm multiple mirrors to min-max my build and buy Magebloods for all my friends.

I agree with most of the stuff you say. But if you are to lazy too show basic human decency and spend 2 seconds it takes to type "Thank you" after a trade just make it a priority to get an addon that does it for you. The PoE Community is one of the friendliest and most helpful communities in online games and just going "it's not worth your seconds" just because you'd have to repeat it a lot is a pretty disgusting mindset.

its got nothing to do with that. when i have many trades coming in, and i type ty after every trade (even if its automated), i lose track of where i was in my chat log and its makes me miss trades or generally disrupts my flow during busy trade sessions during league start. i actually do have the decency to say ty when im not getting trade spammed because i dont have to focus on where i am in the chat log to keep up and trade quickly. i know it sounds weird and probably dumb but thats just how it is for me

There is value to people who sells in bulk but flippers are also people who buy things like mirrors and timeless jewels and sit on them for weeks to flip them for 5-200x "previous value" couple weeks later
