Subbed. Great video bro. Would love some videos expanding on what you’re teaching here. For instance. You mentioned during the conditioning about “now you can throw a mid.” I know what’s mid is but didn’t know that there are certain instances where a mid is best or optimal. Stuff like that would be very helpful

Thank you for putting these helpful videos out there! I'm in a similar state where I stopped competing in fighting games for years because life got in the way but I'm in a situation now that I can compete full time and put my 100% into it and your videos are incredibly helpful with what to focus on. My main is Havik but since his combos are currently bugged I'm looking for a new main until he's fixed but I'm looking for the things you mentioned in this video so thank you! Also I tried to join your discord and the link isn't working for some reason.

mannnn i said i was gonna main him when he comes out but idk now ehhh hes still dope just dont do well as he should but what i can say is his pressure is insane!!!! if you know how to keep it
@kowabungahyena11 ай бұрын
@jayzbottomlip the pressure with Kano is soooo good but certain moves just bypass his pressure because of the bugs. If they fixed the bugs in his strings and EX projectiles I'd still want to main him but until then im going back to my other main shang tsung lol.
@jayzbottomlip11 ай бұрын
oh his b2? yeah he goes over them, you could find a setup with that@@kowabungahyena
@kowabungahyena11 ай бұрын
@jayzbottomlip I tried to workshop it every way that I could but it's inconsistent. Even with kano or stryker you can get fully punished in the b2 string regardless of what you end on. Same with his projectile if he takes a hit on zoning trade his EX blood ball will disappear

Great video man, just a suggestion, you can also post more examples from actual matches. They don't have to be your matches, could be from tournament players or pros cz towards the middle there wasn't any gameplay and I understand it is all advice and I appreciate the video man 😊 helped me alot for ranked.

I usually start off the first set on defense and patience, and the last set I’m the aggressor I never start armoring on knockdown till the last set. Same with grabs as a Johnny main I grab a lot then when I condition em for the last set then that 9 frame mix comes in handy it’s a pick game of chess you’re right my bro. We’ve played before your os is crazy!
@islandkiwi984028 күн бұрын
Any Johnny mains looking at this you’re literally the best strike throw character you have the best button to check people mashing with 11 or for 3,2 if you notice people like down poking after standing one or 11 Johnny back step to forward 3 is top tier whiff for poke fiends but is a game of chest after conditioned start abusing frames to grabs.

Can you please make beginner guide for Tanya like really basic stuff like what are good moves to start a round & what are good moves to punish for example. I just started the game less than a week coming from MK11 where I started with Noob and later on also used Jade but only played like 2 months.. i feel like Tanya is harder than Noob & Jade in MK11 is this right and is she not beginner friendly? Especially for someone new to fighting games in general but a huge fan of MK

The MAIN problem with me is the grabs and I can’t seem to counter it how can I train myself to react to it?
@SpaceCrumbs11 ай бұрын
Best way is to try and tech throws. When you get grabbed for the first time pay attention to what direction your opponent throws you. Look for the patterns and tech accordingly with 1 or 2. 1 is to tech back grab and 2 is to tech forward throw. If your opponent has you in the corner you can almost certainly guarantee he will throw you forward to keep you there so if you tech with 2 you’ll reversal like 70 percent of the time. Other than that you can try and flutter the block button to try and duck os the grab. If you guess right with the duck you get full combo punish but if you don’t you will get full combo punished. I hope this helps. I know it’s messy! 😮💨
