Yeah, tide turner can change match, but it also depends on ur teammates. One day at end of match there were me(Magician) and Andrew and he get knocked down. I had TT and he were chaired near to shaq and I was like "Oh, I can save him and he could get away" but when I rescued him he just ran away to another gate which was closed. So we lost instead of tie

One time I still had tide during endgame, I had opened a gate all the way across the map, and we'd win anyway with 3 man, but I decided to go all the way to the other gate bc the last teammate kept saying how much of the gate they were opening (they managed to get it to 50% even tho I knew the hunter was there which meant they'd be caught and chaired - which happened). So I moved there earlier and hid, and as the hunter chaired, I managed to sneakily rescue 'cause the hunter didn't expect it and bam, tide turner in effect, we opened the rest of the gate as the hunter couldn't do anything!! Tide is crazy really.

Yeah Im not gonna shame people but tide saves matches so much more than BW does. BW is fun to use in QM, ur literally zooming away so hard and kiting is so easy and funny with it but Ive got the feeling that people who bring 9 in rank are mostly people (at least those in middle rank, like Griffin and Alicorn) who never fully understood the game and the time waste (and therefore win) potential of tide. Ive seen so many full kiter team combs in my rank matches and the randoms always bring 9 and rely on the others when it comes to tide. Like they dont even seem to maybe wonder if tide would be a good option here as Priestress or whatever they play and thats so disappointingly egoistic. If youve got 9 because you cannot kite decently without it.... literally what are you doing in tier 5 and above :(

I use tide on majority or all of my character because I simply win more matches with it. Those 20 seconds can be the most important seconds of the match when it does come down to it. There has been so many times where you think if u had tide, the match could’ve been better. Also if u don’t kite with broken windows, it’s really awkward.

Everytime I feel funny in QM and use BW Im at some point thinking I should have bought tide because Im not first kite and therefore kinda useless to the team now, aside from decoding. The best part aside from detention rescues is that if you fuck up a rescue it still should be fine since tide farming is a thing. Often its "wasted" because Im rescuing good and the person still kites after tide ends but if not, that's ok too. Its like an insurance, really. Not bringing tide is valid in some situations, but in most its yikes ngl.

I really hate how in mammoths.. how do I start this- okay, so. I was matched against a photo boi (there was no doctor btw) and well my mirror got found first and is also chaired and well i hid in a corner and also told them to not rescue me and decode. Guess what, some one decided that it will be perfect to save my mirror image. Bruh- I WAS ALREADY IN A CORNER FAR AWAY FROM EVERY CIPHER AND NOW THERES 2 PEOPLE NOT DECODING LIKE- AND THEN THEY SAVE MA CHAIR LAST MINUTE. I- And after that that girl got down after ???? 10 seconds or so she was hit once before she could even save my mirror (then she was hit again after 5 sec kite. I disagree tbh, there's definitely not a strict should/should not bringt tide rule for characters. If you need tide on characters like Minds Eye or Prisoner than thats valid, but a you-problem and definitely not universal since a lot of players use 6 with them and are just fine with that. And it still may be questionable in certain team combs.
