Hello, I am a filmmaker from India (Bharat) with almost decade experience, I am about to start a sole proprietorship. I know fcp premier pro, additional knowledge about cinematography and other filmmaking skills. I want to get into 3d and archhviz as well, starting from blender but will learn cad softwares too. I would really appreciate any guideline or tips and tricks you can suggest, Thank You!! p.s. This is a brilliant channel.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment! @@rishabhverma231 I'd recommend taking a look at some of our videos about how to get clients, or check out our Adobe Max presentation where we shared how to start off getting clients from portfolio/showreel to networking! Hopefully that helps!

Very Helpful tips and book recommendations! I used to think I wanted to start a studio in 5-7 years from now, but the more I think about it I think my brain chemistry works better in a freelance lifestyle.

Freelancer here, trying to move to studio but the transition is HARD. What to outsource and when is the problem. Added to that is that I can do the work myself most of the times, without having to explain it to someone. As always, the info you are giving is great and is giving the right answers to the right questions. Thank you!

Thanks so much for your comment! It's definitely not easy, but that's where most get stuck I think! It's easy to think "Ah, I'll just do it myself" and thats where you need to be able to hand it over if you want to scale in that way :)

Haha, glad this helped then! There's a reason people still run studios, because they actually love the 'disadvantages' we mentioned!😂

I never was interested to start my own studio, but much more interested to have a network that i like to work with. I want to grow as a freelancer with systems in control on the type of project and the amount of work.
