Frankly, I'm disappointed with the RPMs on my channel. Even though the majority of my viewers come from the USA (20%+) and my videos are longer than 8 minutes, I only earn around $1-1.5 per rpm. When I examine different examples on KZbin, I see that even the gaming channels with the lowest rpm gain more rpm than me. What could be the reason why the rpm in my videos is so low? Even though I am a very new channel, there are 2 long form contents with more than 100k views, but I was able to earn very low income from those.

Well, I have a few questions: 1. I have several ideas for youtube channels, all should focus on high quality videos (one idea would include a similar style to RealLifeLore). How do I know which one I shoud start with, aka: are there any ideas/directions you wouldnt go with if one of your primary goal would be making money? 2. How doeas language influence the money earned? I mean yea, german has less speakers than english but does it reward more per 1000 views? 3. Are documentary/info channels worth it? For example, MajorOverkill makes many videos about WH40k 4. Any mindset tipps for making your first video?
