Exactly what I'm doing to find the starting tempo. At that tempo, if there is a challenge, maybe hesitation or mistake, I lower the tempo of the whole passage under consideration or focus on the problem area, slow it down, accelerating slowly on takes, until I can play the entire passage/section at that tempo. I will start a few beats before the indicated passage and stop immediately afte finishing, so I don't then repeat what I already do well. This much focus is new to me, thanks to you; making progress like never before. It's not copyrighted to feel free, "Practice at the speed of no mistakes." At this tempo you will notice all the nuances in the music.

Hello. Please create a video (unless you already did) on how to work with a metronome. Thank you.

Funnily enough we don't have a video on that. We will add it to our list.

I wish I had found you both sooner. If you’re trying to memorize a piece is it safe to assume slow practice would help? Also, have you done any videos on memorization? Thank you.

Slow practice is really great for memorisation, but it's also very important to memorise in faster tempi as well. I just realised we haven't made a playlist for memorisation, I've made one and added two videos we did on learning a piece by heart. If you have a specific problem/piece feel free to ask, it's an important and interesting topic. here's the link to the playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLbwvsJ4srJJGZNgOZwcbeJoNmS2aDdviI
