@@LightsLuck- Prices are identical. HP's business laptops have "fake price" listed on the site, the _Real_ selling price is usually exactly half the official msrp so you can assume around $1800 USD for the 3060 model. Well, obviously. Alex talked about that in the video. That said, you’d be hard pressed to find a 3060 mobile out-performing a 3070 mobile unless the 3070 was severely under-powered and the 3060 had a couple hundred watts to play with.

The latest gen (G8) ZBooks are phenomenal. I dumped my XPS 15 for the new Firefly G8 15" and boy I DON'T MISS THE DONGLE LIFE, it has 2x USB type A and 2x Thunderbolt type C. It has full size HDMI. You can charge it over STANDARDIZED 65W type C (PD) or DC jack so you don't lose that one type-C. It's also lighter than the XPS 15, better battery life (i7 1165G + nVidia Quadro vs i7 9800 + nVidia 1050), and HP's attention to detail really shows. Captive philips screws on the bottom panel (XPS has tiny torx screw that losen and disappear over time), power button on a location that you don't press accidentally when you pickup the laptop (right-thumb press), full-size keyboard on a 15" laptop (even the XPS 17 doesn't have a full size keyboard - whaaaat) plus trackpoint. The speakers are really, really good too! HP was lame on it's pro line between 2010 and 2020, but thankfully it's now back on track!

This is a really good looking laptop, and those bezels are amazing. However, a 3070 doesn't mean anything in a platform that constantly thermal throttles. That's the big reason the XPS only has a 3050, because they've figured out it really doesn't make sense to slap in huge GPUs that sit at 80 degrees after 30 seconds. So, I'm VERY curious to see if this thing has the brawn to back up the looks, or if it just dies a death after like 20-30 minutes of gaming. Also, that metal chassis=hot palms. The XPS uses carbon fiber, which basically never gets hot. So, that's another win right there.

Pretty sure it was using integrated graphics rather than the 3070.

Why does no review ever answer the question if the fan spins for light load especially with such a powerful device?

That big freaking Z logo though geez.... Put it way smaller off to the side and it wouldn't be bad.

I want that cam you advertised, but can’t afford it. I’d spend all day looking at stuff outside 🥸

Love my Zbook Studio. The x360 versions are literally the best for sketching and drawing.

Do they still make the Convertible Studios? Maybe HP scrapped it, I can't find a new one anywhere.

LTT should consider marketing a larger picture of Linus that comes with a set of darts you could drop on it.

Honestly this laptop seems pretty impressive. Only thing I don’t like about it from a cosmetic stand point is the huge Z on the back of it but that’s nothing that Dbrand can’t fix. Wish that the price was lower.
