Britain is home to more illegal migrants than any other European nation, a new study has found.
With estimates of up to 745,000 asylum seekers in the country, accounting for 1% of Britain’s population, that puts Britain near the top of the charts.
This comes after a total of 973 migrants in 17 small boats crossed the English Channel to the UK on Saturday - the same day four people died - making it the busiest day of the year so far.
Isabel says: “This isn’t sustainable. It is changing the face of our country, as well as the look and feel of our urban areas.”
