I was wondering if you would post about Shiv. Recently, I played 30 games where I went for Shiv as my first item. While I personally prefer the bursty playstyle of Collector Navori, I cannot deny the effectiveness of Shiv. I found it particularly useful in matchups where my support picked a champion that doesn't have the best synergy with Nilah (such as Janna or Shaco), as it allowed me to win through cs and roaming advantages, rather than KDA leads. It works even better if the enemy ADC has poor wave clear, like Ezreal or Vayne.

Agreed, shiv really allows u to get 9-10cs per min in almost every lane and the stats are good as well, very effective item

Tried it, waveclear is amazing, but against multiple tanks, it didn't feel as good as Collector. But definitely great against squishies.

I doubt Collector is better than Shiv against tanks. WIth Shiv you have attack speed, and pretty much the same amount of ad as Collector. Lethality is pretty worthless against tanks.

nah with this one you want to just stack as much crit as possible, shieldbow / navori are good options

I've definitely considered it before but there is a lot to do and I kinda get dizzy when I have too much content ideas so I'll take it step by step. Definitely do expect some coaching videos coming in the future though

So I think this build is situational in lower MMR. If I get a 1000 gold back timer off a kill or two that means Collector. If the lane is slower and is playing out even or I'm behind Shiv is fine. When I have a lead I want Collector to help maintain freezes and really punish the enemy.

My first 5 games as nilah was a nightmare(lowest dmg in my team) , but after I start to winning without any chance for enemies

Yep, the champion definitely takes a lot of games to get used to, she's very different from the traditional adc champions

why did you not e+q at 6:10 ? is it better to use q inbetween autos?

It is generally better to weave in autos between Nilah spells but mostly because he's right in front of me and it's impossible to miss auto attack vs. you can miss Q. Although Riot did fix the EQ bug on Nilah I still have ptsd sometimes and think the Q might miss

She is very much playable with enchanters but she will always do best with engage supports. Barrier is good vs. skirmish heavy matchups like samira Ghost is just okay in general but weak laning phase Cleanse vs. cc

Love your camera movement. I started playing with locked cam at the beginning and playing Evelyn forced me to unlock the cam but I still leave my locked cam on most of the time and then unlock it with T when I need it and lock it back with T afterwards. Some friends of mine said it's stupid and I could just use Spacebar but now I finally have a high level example to show them😅 Love your Nilah videos, made me make her my main adc for when I get filled bot (I'm a Riven Main)

Nilah will struggle against most champions in the solo lane, only a few good match-ups. She's still best in the bot lane

q doesn’t gain anything from extra points early. CD and mana cost stay the same and the ad ratio isn’t that impactful cuz it’s total ad. E gains up to 100 damage per charge and has much lower cooldown at max rank. Q scales with items, not levels

Gives cooldown and damage and you always need E , and Q max second works well with your scaling as maxing it sees more benefit when you’re 2-3 items complete

^ Yep, what kpmatch said, Q takes time to scale because it's based off of your AD, whereas E is just flat scaling so it's better early

They are 2 different builds, the statikk build is much more forgiving to beginners whereas going cyclosword you have to know your limits better on Nilah
