This is a great video to showcase wave management in lol (take this with a grain of salt, I'm learning). 0:00 It starts with the enemies incorrectly crashing second wave, allowing for nilah to set up a slow push. If cait AA'd the range minions in the beginning a few times, it would have fully crashed and wave state would reset. Moreover, they don't accomplish anything with that crash. It looks like they didn't even recall. 1:13 So nilah gets to slowpush, they get faster lvl up timings, wave is on nilah's side for now, they got minion advantage, life is good. Nilah slowpushes, waits till canon wave, then fast pushes, trading hp for pushing in the wave. The wave crashes, enemies stay to collect it, causing them to recall later. 2:18 after the big wave crashed, the wave state reset, yada-yda, they die to zac gank. 3:43 The wave ends up frozen on enemy side. This in theory is very bad for nilah - they are vulnerable to ganks and can get harassed if they go for creeps. However at 4:02 kog-maw hits the caster creeps with his E, followed by cait auto-attacking nilah. then walking back, that pulls two melee creeps under the tower. After that cait Q-s the wave, which completely breaks the freeze. 4:09 now the wave is slowpushing to nilah, however nilah by now has good waveclear and can do with the wave whatever she wants - namely turn it into a freeze on their side, which then results in a kill.

Hey enryu, I have 3 questions for you, What do u build in case they have alot of magic dmg where they dont ff and the game carries on, i feel like i dont like maw cause it hinders my dmg and doesnt make me that tanky anyway into heavy ap comps like this and into burst comps i just do sheildbow so what should i build into heavy ap comps, any recommendations? Second question, is it worth to take second wind into double poke matchups like this or is cosmic insight too crucial? Lastly, ima d3 adc main who mains nilah, kaisa, zeri and many others but mostly play those 3, any tips? Thanks alot for the content lately, always love ur vids!!

Maw is still the best option into literally full ap but shieldbow is optimal in most games because it is useful against all damage. Second wind is not worth it, Doran's shield is enough and if u are still getting poked to 1 HP it's either a positioning gap or a support gap (could be both). Nilah Kaisa and Zeri are all very different champions so there is no general advice for all 3 except focus on farm and getting gold around the map, just be more aware of your surroundings

cookie is more for mana which is usally not needed for poke lanes, it's just doran's shield and playing waves correctly

@@renatoveloso2627 probably not worth 2 rune slots when you could js go dorans shield and trade 10 ad and 3% lifesteal for it, also revitalize mostly only works with ench supp i believe so if you already have a healing ench you shouldnt be thaaat badly harassed by poke in the first place

ER is going down 10 ad and haste. Bork is going down 10 ad. A lot of item passives are also getting nerfed, but bork isn’t. (that’s what i’m thinking, but im not good so)

every single item is nerfed so less overall damage in the game bork passive still the same so it's a good source of reliable damage all game long that scales with enemy HP + nilah's armor pen (which she has a lot of)

He has made a guide video on how to build Nilah this season and you build either BORK or ER depending if you can get a BF Sword on your first back. If you can buy BF Sword first back then go ER. Otherwise, go BORK. Nilah is a melee champion so she gets the melee version of BORK passive.
