mismatching cables with your power supply esp if they are not made by your PSU manufacturer can cause issues with your power delivery and your unit / other hardware thats why companies like cablemod have to make their cables specifically for each PSU manufacturer and sometimes even down to the model itself its not just as simple as making a universal extension cable

They plug directly to the cables of a PSU and don't change the orientation/arrangement of the pins and they are different from cable kits (that are specific to certain PSU models) that cablemod sells, which plug directly into a modular PSU. The melting issue that you mentioned stems from the wire gauge (AWG) used by most budget manufacturers, which typically is 18AWG, and the length of the extension cable. Thicker cable (lower AWG) = less resistance, longer cable = higher resistance, higher resistance = more heat and less efficient power delivery. If you want to use extension cables without worries, I'd recommend you get something with at least 16AWG wires, especially if you're using it with a relatively high-end/high power setup.

the tiny z20 can fit a few of the smaller 4090's in it like the founders edition if you use the smallest psu you can manage. i just saw someone on reddit manage to fit a 240mm aio on top and 2 120 mm fans on the bottom as well.

curious to why you went with the d31 instead of the more compact (and in my opinion higher quality) d30 or z20. i just built a z20 build and its perfect, high quality, easy to build in intuitive design... all three cases around the same price.

D31 is quite huge and wide, wouldn't call it SFF, I have the white mesh ver. Z20 and TK-1 better imo.

@@ShaunaJagan the z20 supports matx and itx boards, and atx/sfx power supply depending on graphics cards and other radiator and fan sizes. I wouldn't spend more than 200$ usd on a case that retails for 100$ usd. wait until they ship them to brazil i guess. I wish i knew better options for you that also ship to brazil. the asus prime ap201 is too big for my liking, but since asus is a larger brand, they might ship to brazil. The z20 is all machined metal, high quality, durable. one of my favorite cases i have built in, definitely worth 100 bucks, maybe 150... so i guess close to 200 for third party shipping?

U should share thermal test, because I don't think that tiny cooler can keep 12600k cool! Non "x" or "k" series cpu's should be used in these types of builds

Very nice case and cooler I have to say but there are lot of issues with mini itx motherboards from Bios, CMOS Battery to blue Screens of death. I prefer to use Micro ATX motherboards and ATX too.

i don't get the combination here,high tier motherboard with cheap low tier kingstone nv2/nv3 nvme..and normally i just stop watcing if its a intel build,but lately all of your builds are only intel build.why though!! i swithched between intel and amd couple of times since 2014 with my first intel i5 and 13th gen my last..i seem to got suite with team red quite well.they are awesome.my preference though maybe differ to yours but give us some all amd itx with GRE fraphics build.
