The Asrock a620 also has a MUCH better vrm than the gigabyte a620. If you're gonna run a non-x cpu, then it doesn't matter much. But the Asrock a620 will handle x and x3d cpus a lot better, which is important since there's no pbo to undervolt with on an a620 board

For anyone that are interested in the thermal of this case: -Setting the bottom fan to exhaust is a lot better for performance since the CPU cooler is blowing air out (i got the exact cooler) while the bottom is pushing air in, creating a conflicted flow. My temp on the 7600x got 5-8 C cooler.
@DanniieLTorres2 күн бұрын

@lochoang29822 күн бұрын
@@DanniieLTorres no since the hot from the CPU cooler is pushing it both toward the top and bottom of the case, setting the fan to exhaust will help getting rid of the hot air. Understandable that hot air rises but in this case if the bottom fan is set to intake, it will be fighting the flow that the CPU cooler creates and trap the hot air inside. Hot air may rises by itself but in this case its being pushed by the cpu cooler so therefore it will go in the direction of the fin of the cooler
@DanniieLTorres2 күн бұрын
@@lochoang2982 so basically what you're saying is that in order to avoid creating turbulence with the air coming out of the cpu cooler, just make an airflow path smoother by exhausting the hot air?

Fun fact, if you look at 7:04 at the close-up of the PSU and MOBO, I was able to set up a vertical SSD drive between the PSU and MOBO. It is a solid friction fit, almost like they planned it that way. Another thing that fits is a 90mm low profiile fan pointed out above the PSU. Getting one under the PSU is laughable, I tried to do that. Way too tight under there. Maybe if you had exact length right angle cables. Not worth it. If you go with the ID-Cooling IS-55 cooler I think it will perform a little better but the 120mm fan does not fit on the bottom of the case, unless you have Low I/O like devyn's previous S300 video. You can put a 90mm one down there though using one hole for the 12mm and drilling your own hole in the opposite corner. I think it's worth it because that cooler is much beefier and bumps right up to the side of the case to draw fresh air in. Great case.

Exactly, this is something that I don’t think a whole lot of people understand yet. A solid 1440p 144fps and 4k 60fps pc build ranges from $1100 to $1500. If the ps5 pro can manage to give a bit more flexibility in how we can set graphics performance and can also make sure games are actually optimized, there is almost no reason to buy a pc in this price range unless you really want to play on pc or need one
@KrypteiaXi15 сағат бұрын
@ its mostly for the sport. I built several gaming PCs over the years and I found out that I cared more about aesthetics than actual gaming. When people mention a console beater rig they typically mean crap motherboard without Wifi-bluetooth and without beefy capacitors etc for stable OC, stock CPU cooler, crap PSU, ugly RAM, whatever brand cheap SSD, and a PC case that according to my taste is usually straight for the bin. Knowing myself I would struggle to put together an RTX 4070 pc south of 1500€. Especially if you think that I will be lucky to get a good RTX 4070 implementation in my country for less than 600€. I would honestly rather buy a PS5 PRO at this point. Consoles have gotten plenty powerful at this point.
