Finally caught up with This Iz podcast and applaud to Adlina for bravely sharing her experiences. I can relate to the harassment part. But I was lucky it happened when I was an adult and I already know that in the event this happened, I needed to defend myself. The perpetrator touched my thighs before grabbing my butt in a crowded train. He probably thought he could get away with it because there was so many people around. So I grabbed his hand and twisted it till he flinched and gave him the death stare before firmly said to him I will break his arm if he comes near me again. He backed off and alighted at the next station. And that whole incident spoiled the rest of my day at work. Sorry to those who got my lashing out that day hahahaha

a topic i can relate to so much regarding SA.. i think partly we dont want to tell people is apart from being judged, we subconsciously feel disgusted with ourselves bc of what happened, hence we feel ashamed…and regarding about being judged for not fighting back, many may not understand the ‘freeze response’.

I was molested at 5 it’s a family but I think when we young we feel we not suppose to talk to strangers n if we did we afraid to tell our parents we break the rule We afraid to speak up . I’m one of those girls who always get molested by the time I’m my teens when I got molested I retaliate!!!
