Welcome to the Wagakki Band world. Wagakki Band was created in 2012 officially in 2013 by Shigin singer Yuko Suzuhana. The mastermind behind sound and arrangement is the guitarist Machiya, he also has the last word and is responsible for at least 50% of the songs, even though Yuko is the boss. They have released 7 studio albums. They are perhaps best known for their Daishinnenkai (New Year's party) concerts. There will be a best of album in the autumn which has been put together by the fans who have voted for the songs they want included earlier this year. These songs will be the core of this autumn's Japan tour. I myself voted for "Eclipse", "Kagerou" and "Bougetsu". Unfortunately, they go on an indefinite break from New Year's. They will concentrate on each individual's own careers for a time. They boast that they will return, but no one knows when. Quote from the press release "When the 8 of us are on stage together again we will deliver new and exciting and good music for the fans". NB! stay away from anything uploaded by Avex MV and live video. this will be blocked, at least in japan. They changed record labels in 2019. MVs after this are relatively safer to react to.

Wagakki is special. Their best work, in my opinion is Letter With No Name.

They do a performance of "Bring Me to Life" with Amy Lee from Evanescence that's pretty cool.
