@geroutathat2 жыл бұрын
@@paperIrori Yeah, I seen a video about Irish Trad music, and I mention it because they have to jam together without knowing what the other will play. But they showed how you start learning. You basically pick up the instrument, and start. No reading sheets, no music theory, just they play a note, and you have to try replicate it, they sit there until you find it, then they play another. Eventually they can just play whatever they hear, and play whatever they hum even if they dont know what the notes are called. Obviously if you have long fingers youre gonna get advantages at some instruments, and even short fingers can be an advantage on others, big lungs for wind instruments etc, but I believe they like to start on a tin whistle, and believe anyone can start doing it at any age.

@@lpi3 Understanding it isn't too hard most of the time, but learning to speak it is a major pain, also because when you try even if you say the right thing the right way, you still get "Nani?!" with surprised Pikachu face, because they don't expect it. I mostly don't now, they speak to me in Japanese and I answer in a mix of English and Japanese that makes the surprised look not feel out of place 😆. I've settled to my 'role' as the Gaijin that doesn't mind if someone forgets to switch from Japanese to 'English'. Just to "frame" this, my ex wife is Japanese, my son is half, I've been to Japan many times and get around fine there. But I'm blonde and 6'1" so I don't exactly fit in.

Wow, that was so insane. I can't pick a winner, aside from Ayumu who's in another league from everyone and it's not fair to compare him to anyone else, but aside from him, I loved all of them equally. Each person brought a wonderful unique style and really just proved them all to be world-class.

Here for Misa! Band Maid is handsdown among the best Rock band of this generation. Go check em out if you haven’t already. That aside, would’ve been great to see Kiyoshi Manii included in this video. @@nomadichobo9837 I’ve heard about Girlfriend but never checked it out as they seemed like a pop group, not that I have anything against such groups as I do listen to the likes of Little Glee Monster, Flower and recently Wagamama Rakia (idol/Metal similar to Babymetal). Guess I judged too early again, the same way I avoided Band Maid initially due to their name and image. Seriously what is with Japan’s love for elaborate trolling? 😅 Next time I have a list of artists to explore, I’m definitely starting out with the ones in bunny outfits and strawberry cupcake names. . .

One hell of a jam session. So easy to listen to and just...enjoy. Man, music today has so little soul that it's always cool to find people doing their own things and making music that really speaks to you on a visceral level. Don't think about the music, just let it carry you away as you listen.
