Not to mention the lack of sovereignty that brings. I'd wager that many Brexit voters frequently travel in to and throughout Europe. I you would humour me, if Reform get in to power and they are a dictatorship of sorts, is that going to be worse than either the tories or Labour? On Northern Ireland - the tail is wagging the dog. On pensioners - we paid into the pension system. It's not our fault if the government spent the money on other things and run it like a Ponzi scheme, expecting the young (which they discouraged couples from having by a raft of anti-family edicts) to pay for what we were entitled to receive. Which leads to us (supposedly) needing all the immigrants because there are not enough young, but, of course, what we're getting is people that cost more than they add to the economy (according to some recent statistics), putting even more pressure on the shoulders of the young. It sets the young against the old when we should be all looking at the government (and I don't just mean the visible politicians). Meanwhile they're doing more damage and saying "There's nothing to see over here".

High cost index linked pensions in the government, civil servants and nhs. Costs a lot of money. Think of Starmer pension and NHS Drs and consultants. Which is why we have private and independent social care settings. The agencies cost a lot in the short term but save money in the long run, no pensions and 0 hour contracts.
