Brandon, did you put the floor in yet? If not, think about adding my idea.... add a sand battery under your bed. This could be done several ways. I imagine a sun tube headboard sand battery chimney, then the rest of the battery under the bed. You can add pex and run water through it for on demand. I would like to help build this just for exposure of my genius 😊

don't forget to overhang your roof to shade your windows so you don't get the summer sun overheating your indoor space. Meanwhile the winter sun comes in at a shallower angle and gets in your windows.

You really do need a verandah on the front of your house to give more shade and to help keep the house cooler, about 8ft wide should be ok.

@@jamesmatheson5115 I didn’t build my house but it has covered porches on every main entrance and these are so useful as an extension of the house, mud room, animals can be there but dry I even have rocking chairs but if you want full solar coming in then heavy curtains for night porches / verandas would block the day sun .

@@mahalaburton1055 I come from a hot region so direct sun into the house in summer is a total no no, especial on the sunny side of the house, if the house is planned properly for the parcel of land then the living area should be on the non sun side, with a verandah of 8ft deep the winter sun is low enough to put light into the house.

Looking good! Just a point that you might want to consider is storing the AllPowers either to the side or the top of the cooler. You don't want to risk a water leak dripping down into the unit.

I solar charge my generators while using them . They stay charged longer. I have a long cord and on days with no sun I take one in the car and connect to the alternator charges 2500 watts in one hour . You have to buy a dc to dc charger .

Nice! Yea I do keep the generators on the panels for charging. But they're handy enough where they can be moved no problem which is super nice.✌🏾

I really, really hope the ceiling will be sealed against outgassing formaldehyde from the glue holding the roof plywood together. Formaldehyde exposure is the second most common cause of cancer, behind only tobacco.

Nicely done hanging those doors and on the cabinet! I am a bit confused about why the doors seem to be on inside-out. Is the plan to swap the hardware around? Are you thinking about running conduit out so you can charge the batteries without having to lug them in and out, or is there a more permanent power solution in the works?
